The peppermint and eucalyptus scent is really refreshing — strong enough to wake you up a bit in the morning but not overpowering at all. The beard shampoo lathers up nicely, even with a small amount, and actually cleans without leaving my beard feeling dry or stripped. The conditioner is really good too — leaves my beard feeling noticeably softer and not dry or coarse. A little goes a long way with both, so the bottles have lasted me a long time even with regular use. Only downside is that it can feel a bit difficult to squeeze the liquids out as even when its quite full it needs a squeeze, but then leads to too much coming out.
