Clearly designed exclusively for the US market. A lovely dish to use but not for the UK market.

As other reviewers have said (wish I’d read them) this dish is totally the wrong size for standard UK / EU butter. That should be made clear in the publicity rather than relying on people to measure. Not good Amazon!

I was very surprised to find that this butter dish would not hold a pack of butter as sold in the UK it is too small. the pack of butter has to be halved.
