I'm using them as guest robes, so friends and family don't have to travel with a big bulky bathrobe when packing a suitcase. I bought the small/ medium for women and I'm 5'4, 135, and it's comfortable and roomy...not overly big. The Lg/XLG is really big and too roomy for me, but perfect for a man, which is how I wanted the sizing. I have them hanging on the back of my guest bathroom door.Now about the robes. The weight is perfect; just right for all year long. The long sleeves will be perfect on a man and women will want to roll theirs up. The overall length is well below the knee; where? depending on how tall you are, but gives plenty of coverage. It has two pockets on the front and comes with an extra long belt. And when it comes to washing, they come out beautiful. I washed them in cold water and used fabric softener the first time and will continue to do the same in the future. They were soft right out of the package, and even softer after washing and drying, and hardly any wrinkles. I may touch them up with a iron...or not. And being cotton I figured they would shrink...not so, at all.The waffle texture is very pretty and looks like the expensive hotel robes I've worn. And because the weight is not too heavy, but not too light, they are the perfect robe for you or your guest. Oh, one more thing. The cost. I've looked online everywhere for quality robes and others were so overpriced. For the money you can't go wrong. Your guests will think you spent a fortune, or "got them from a hotel". For me, living in Texas it is a year long wear, but if you live in the North this is a summer robe. It is a nice quality of cotton but not cozy! I love the choice of colors,I bought the lighter blue and it is pretty, and the tailoring is good. As for the size....I bought a s/m. It is large for me, but I like a robe that is ample and so I can wrap it around me and it doesn't gap open. I am 5 ft = about 110 lbs = if you like a fitted robe buy xs/s. The robe washes well and doesn't need ironing. It did shrink just a little and is softer after machine washing (cold) and drying (delicate).
