Update 4/24 - I have now used this on wrapped and flat panel canvases and they work really well on those too. I did cut the words into "individual stencils" so I just used masking tape to tape them to the canvas, it does the job at holding them down and then I carefully lift off the tape and stencil off while the paint is still wet and go rinse them off. I bought more from this company and they are all made with the same flexible material and yield nice results whether I used acrylic, glitter or 3-D paints.I loved these from the moment I saw them online and had a very specific purpose for them. I love tattoos but I'm not willing to go under the needle. I like positive and inspirational statements and like to have them on the hands, palms, wrists, feet to remind myself at any time what I stand for and it works (for me). So I bought these as stencils to use for temporary paint and glitter tattoos on my body. They are flexible enough, just enough to contour a wrist or a hand, it takes a little creativity and work to make them work perfectly. I used them on the side of my feet at the arches and they managed to get decent results, I still need practice. They are not made for that so I had to find a solution so that the stencil stuck to my body while I applied the paint/glitter or henna. I used a glue stick on the back and it stuck to my skin then I used a wet towel to remove the glue, the ones I have are water-based. I would do an allergy test first since glue sticks are made for paper and not skin. I will post an update once I use them on something other than skin. I plan on doing mini-canvases so we'll see.

These are great stencils! I use them in my new hobby of acrylic painting though I wish these were larger font for my larger canvases but being creative i could sketch them as larger fonts. I will be looking for more stencils with other words as it makes crafting a lot easier. Enjoy!

This stencil is alright but it seems rather thick so when applying paint I really have to apply pressure to get it thru the holes of the letters. I would rather use a thinner plastic stencil but some folks might not be bothered by this complaint. The stencil is very durable and acrylic paints clean off it quite well after use.

If you want a durable thicker stencil- this is it. I think it's the best - and perfect thickness for stencils. Most stencils are cheaply madeI wish all my stencils were made as great as this one. I will purchase Plaid Inc stencils again.More than expected and a awesome buy

Too thick to do what i wanted with these.....they are sturdy stencils though if that is what you like.....must use a brush. Can not be used with gelli plate very well

I love these stencils! I use them when making homemade cards and they come out great! I am very satisfied! It arrived sooner than I expected and had no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend these stencils and the place that I got them from!

This is a really simple but lovely stencil. It is on very thin but flexible plastic which means it can be used on surfaces that aren't 100 flat.The words chosen are a perfect fit for what I wanted so I am really pleased with this purchase.

Love this stencil... great for my needs... Have bought a couple of different ones and the quality and strength, means it will last a long time if washed and kept well.
