Stretch Sensations Optic Sofa Stretch Slipcover, Chocolate

We purchased a set to cover our living room furniture. There is a little bit of a learning curve putting the covers over the furniture, but if you actually lay the item out flat and look at it for a minute, you can figure out which side goes where. This is important to note because, while it comes with placement stickers that tell you were the arms and back are, these won't be on the item after a washing so you need to be able to figure it out yourself. For the loveseat and sofa, the pieces stretch out well and fit snugly.For the recliner, the cover comes in three pieces. The back and arms fit great. The problem is the bottom part does NOT want to stay on. We manage to get it on and it looks great when the leg rest is in the down position, but if you actually use the chair and position the leg rest up, it pops off.If you have cats or small dogs that like to get on the furniture, I would be worried about these covers. The material is stretchy and, if it gets caught on a claw (or even a long fingernail) it will stretch. While we haven't put a hole in ours yet, we've already had a few close calls with the material getting snagged.The color is great. It is a nice neutral tone that blends in well with our living room without being bland. And more importantly, the color is consistent across all pieces. A lot of times there is a slight mismatch is shades with this sort of item.

This sofa cover works out for me great. I have 2 cats, a Great Dane and a leather sofa. The cover protects the couch from those times when the fur babies try to get up there and relax.It washes well, with no shrinkage. My sofa is almost 7 ft long, with attached back pillows - the cover fits it great with a little wiggle room - I was even able to pull it down, around and under the legs to secure it.There is plenty of fabric to tuck back into the back on the seat portion. Its a little slippery and needs fixed each time we get up (because its leather), and there were even suggestions in the packaging that said if you have leather, you may want to put a little of the stuff that you put under rugs to make them stay in place under the cover where the seat cushions are, and it also suggested to use a rolled up magazine secured with a rubberband or two to put down into the sides and back where you tuck it into the cushion as the rubberband will help stop the fabric from coming untucked as easy ( wow! great tip.)I would definitely buy this sofa cover when it's time to replace...

I read the reviews and they are mostly correct. Good luck finding the “perfect” couch cover anywhere though. Options seem limited. It does as it says. It is gray and covers the couch. It's stretchy and washable. It is not waterproof. Dog hair becomes a permanent part of the fabric. Dogs have no problem chewing holes in it. BUT it doesn't unravel after being chewed and will still cover a couch. It does not stay tucked in on a pleather couch but it acts as a pitiful trampoline until you tuck it back in. Maybe it will cling better with a cloth type couch. My dogs jump, lay, scratch, play, and climb all over their couch and this cover has held up pretty well considering the torture it has endured. I purchased this sofa cover to protect the sofa from a dog and cat and the cat's long hair which seems to stick to everything. I didn't want to pay a lot for it since the last one didn't last long at all and I also found it difficult to find a gray slipcover (the cat has gray fur) so my options were limited. This is my second sofa cover and for the price of the sofa cover, I'm very happy with it. I have had it for two months now and it's still in decent shape though there are some straggling threads now. It makes the couch look great and for the most part, it stays on well. I have to tuck it in the sides every few days or so but it doesn't bother me. It does attract pet fur but it's pretty easy to vacuum it off if you have a good pet hair vac.

This cover looks great and I love the light grey cover, but it is a beast to put on the couch. It takes some good stretching to get this cover to fit my standard size couch. I also bought the recliner cover and that one has since ripped, so I am a little nervous to pull too tight to get this cover to fit. However, I've been using it for awhile now and it has yet to rip. Also, given this cover is one size fits all I am willing to overlook the fact that it doesn't fit the couch perfectly. I do have to retuck it into the cushions pretty much every time I sit down on it, but really all I have to do is occasionally push it back past the back of the cushion. Pet hair does stick to the fabric horrendously too, but it washes nicely.

Pros: This slipcover fit my couch perfectly! The stretchy fabric hugs the couch and looks like the actual upholstery and not a slip cover. I used pieces of cardboard tubes to push into the cracks of the couch arms and back and the slipcover stays in place. No more tugging and tucking!Cons: I've had this slipcover for a few short weeks and the fabric already looks worn. The textured pattern makes it nearly impossible to remove pet fur and lint. I've tried vacuuming and a lint roller to no avail.Bottom line: I wish this was made of a smoother, more durable fabric. I love the way it fits and from a distance the couch looks great. I will keep it on the couch because a worn slipcover is easily replaceable. But the quality is disappointing.

Fits nicely, but my kids are always sliding around on the couch so the cover gets pulled off or rearranged. Wish it had some ways of attaching in the middle with the cushions.

Just awful. They don't stay where they belong, attract the lint, dirt and dust, pill and threads pull all over the place. The fabric seems to be poor quality. Would not recommend at all. Very unhappy with this purchase
