Front Runner Expander Camping Chair (Black Portable Outdoor Folding Chair).

Love this chair. Small footprint & sits away in my truck since I use my truck for hot shoting. I have used it many of times out on the road to have a place to sit at truck stops & have used it camping. Very comfortable & heavier duty than you might think.

Brilliant chair, best combination of speed to erect and collapse, robustness, comfort, and small folded size. When you think about it, those are the factors that are most important for car camping and 4wd touring.We have light chairs that pack small and are comfortable, but they are fussy to erect so we don’t use them for quick stops. We have quick erect 3 legged stools that we were also carrying that we used for lunch stops etc. now we leave all other chairs behind and simply take 2 FrontRunner Expander Campiing Chairs with us wherever we go. They are the perfect height for relaxing or for eating dinner on your lap or off a table, low enough for comfort but high enough to get out of quickly (my wife has injured her leg and but can still get out of these chairs quickly). Highly recommended.Robustness means slightly heavier than you might expect, but it’s all steel and looks and feels like they’ll last a lifetime of happy camping, and now we travel with just 2 chairs not 4. It’d be nice if FrontRunner sold the cover with the chair as a package on Amazon.

I've had this chair for four years. I resisted getting a camp chair for decades. They take up too much room, they are cheaply built, and they make you soft...as opposed to sitting on a rock or firewood. But at 66 I decided I'd earned some luxury. This chair has been on hundreds of days of camping. It's been rained on, snowed on and baked under the sun at Indian Creek. It's been blown down, tossed in pickup trucks and generally abused by drunken climbers. My only complaint is that you need to be a rocket scientist to unfold it. It's like one of those rubics cubes. I've memorized the process now, but I'm always careful to unfold the chair before I break out the beers. I love that it folds up compact and is made from tough metal and thick plastic. I'm thinking of getting another one, my wife keeps stealing it.

I really like the chair. Packs up so small. Easy to unpack and set up and you can put it away just as quickly. I hope to get a second chair one day.Originally I was super disappointed. I intentionally purchased the expensive front runner chair because I was tired of the cheap folding chairs only lasting 1-2 years. When it failed after a few months I felt like the joke was on me.I'm really grateful for the support from customer service. They immediately got to work on sending me a replacement. Hopefully the replacement holds up over time! I'll try to remember to come back here and report back.

They work really nice

I camp out of my Toyota 4Runner and space is a premium. I needed a comfortable director's chair that didn't take up a lot of room. This chair is perfect. I bought the carrying case also, two chairs fit nicely. The only tradeoff is the weight, this chair is not light. But its steel not aluminum, sturdy and very comfortable.

Nice chair. Opening and closing the chair is a breeze. Light weight and compact. Good storage on each side of the chair.

The media could not be loaded. Front Runner Expander Camping Chair"Cool factor chair". 17" by 17" when folded and weighs almost 10lbs. The chair is easy to setup and take down. Easy to pack away and doesn't take up much space. The max weight is 250lbs. For the price it should be more comfortable and hold more weight. I find the chair to lay back further than I would like and the seat cuts into my rear end. For the price the chair should come with a carry bag to keep dust and the elements off. I do not recommend. I give it 2 stars due to how easy it is to set up and take down. I really wanted to like this chair. It is mine and i paid for it so i will have to use it until I find and can afford a replacement.
