Front Runner Expander Camping Chair (Black Portable Outdoor Folding Chair).

This is a great chair that I find very comfortable. I am 6’4” and I find I have plenty of room in this chair which isn’t something I can say for a lot of chairs that are designed to fold up so small. It’s easy to deploy and just as easy to fold back up.

i had the original GCI version of this before they discontinued it, now i have this version (only difference i found was its black and not green) for about two years and its awesome. its the the most comfortable of all the camping chairs that ive tried plus very easy to store. i can strap it to my backpack when i walk to the beach very easily. IT IS STURDY. this thing has never even hinted at having too much weight on it, hence the weight of the chair itself, its just solid. all in all just get it, itll last forever and it folds from small to a full chair in seconds once you get the hang of it. my only complaint is the drink holder bottom detached from the mesh. id still get it again and i think i will before summer gets here.

I bought one to try. WOW, light weight, very very fast to setup, pretty comfortable, and very very fast to close up. Loved it so much that I ordered a second one along with a bag for two and threw 4 other chairs away. LOVE IT!!!

Love these chairs, but we had one that was always a problem extending the lower legs. Finally on our last trip it just broke. So I ordered a new one, hopefully this one will last.

Brilliant chair, best combination of speed to erect and collapse, robustness, comfort, and small folded size. When you think about it, those are the factors that are most important for car camping and 4wd touring. We have light chairs that pack small and are comfortable, but they are fussy to erect so we don’t use them for quick stops. We have quick erect 3 legged stools that we were also carrying that we used for lunch stops etc. now we leave all other chairs behind and simply take 2 FrontRunner Expander Campiing Chairs with us wherever we go. They are the perfect height for relaxing or for eating dinner on your lap or off a table, low enough for comfort but high enough to get out of quickly (my wife has injured her leg and but can still get out of these chairs quickly). Highly recommended. Robustness means slightly heavier than you might expect, but it’s all steel and looks and feels like they’ll last a lifetime of happy camping, and now we travel with just 2 chairs not 4. It’d be nice if FrontRunner sold the cover with the chair as a package on Amazon.

I camp out of my Toyota 4Runner and space is a premium. I needed a comfortable director's chair that didn't take up a lot of room. This chair is perfect. I bought the carrying case also, two chairs fit nicely. The only tradeoff is the weight, this chair is not light. But its steel not aluminum, sturdy and very comfortable.

We bought this chair specifically to use on ATV rides. My husband weighs 210 lbs and has trouble getting out of camp chairs if he sinks too far - particularly on uneven ground. After several camp trips and many miles on the trail, he continues to marvel at how sturdy the chair frame and canvas are. To date our only trouble was the initial unfold out of the package as it was not easy to figure out when nothing would slide. Thankfully WD-40 did the trick before we gave up. We still have to re-spray once in awhile but it's very acceptable considering the chair is strapped to the front of our quad and exposed to dust. The storage bag is also recommended but not necessary. Without it the folded frame of the chair will swing while walking. Not an issue for most but it poses a fall risk for the husband. When tucked in the carry case it is exceptionally easy to manage.

Love this chair. Small footprint & sits away in my truck since I use my truck for hot shoting. I have used it many of times out on the road to have a place to sit at truck stops & have used it camping. Very comfortable & heavier duty than you might think.

I have a very thin space above my cab in my Jayco RM19. Finally found a full-sized camp chair that slides easily into that space. The folded chair is little more than 50 mm thick or 2 inches the old scale. It is super quick to fold and unfold made of metal, very strong, no way this is camping chair blowing away, weighs about 4 kilos but very easy to cart around with a handle. Overall it's about 40 cm by 40 cm by 5 cm roughly. It isn't real cheap but ultimately worth the money because it should last a long time. But then again most camp chairs are kind of around about that $100 mark anyway.

Extrem klein verpackbar (bei mir in der Frontrunner Tasche für 2 Stühle), bequem, man sitzt hoch am Tisch und beißt nicht in die Tischplatte. Stabil und wertig verarbeitet. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!

The chair seems as though it would be sturdy except that it arrived with a part missing from one of seat braces. I requested a refund but had a very difficult time with the seller and my return was denied. The chair is extremely heavy. Not suitable for backpacking or even motorcycle camping.
