Firecracker Knife - mini keychain pocket knife (Black)

Was very surprised to receive an actual OTF (out the front) knife. It's the real deal. Great gift idea. Great for opening mail. Be warned though, there is NO safety. And it is very easy to eject the blade. Because of this I would never carry this knife. It also has extreme play in all directions which rules it out as having any utility purpose. (I wouldn't trust it anyway). It seems to be more of a novelty item in my opinion.The blade does come out with some force. I am very curious to know what would happen if my hand was in front of it. I won't be experimenting though.

Great little OTF knife. Light and easy to carry, but sturdy as can be.The button to open/close is stiff enough that it’s highly unlikely you’d ever have a misfire. It’s actually stuff enough it’s a tough one-hand open with some carpal tunnel.The obstructed-open mechanism works like a champ. It’ll poke a finger hard enough to draw a drop of blood but it derails in the process and causes no further harm. I needed to know and I got my answer.

 Great little knife. It didn't have the sharpest edge out of the box but sharpening with my Lansky box was easy. Other reviewerd have stated this is just a toy, and if you purchase with that in mind, you will likely not be disappointed. While I would not use this knife on hard use tasks, it works perfectly well for opening letters and boxes.

Despite the low number of reviews, please buy this if you are looking for a mini otf knife. This works perfectly and reliably (btw if the blade hits something while opening and is stuck open, just pull it out manually to the maximum and it should reactivate)

Surprisingly reliable little knife for the price. I’ve bought many otf firecracker style knives and this one opens and closes the most reliably. The blade is 440c stainless so not bad and easy to sharpen. Comes pretty sharp as is. Good little knife to have for opening boxes and the like.

I do love this thing. I keep it on my keychain. Great for opening boxes at work. You can get the blade super sharp. There have been a few times The open/close mechanism malfunctioned. But all you need to do is grab the blade tip, pull it out, and the mechanism reengages. I use it daily for opening boxes, cutting off old appliance electrical cords, etc. Light duty stuff. So far so good.

Great for one hand operation, very handy to have. Need to buy a second one.

A great product, well constructed and fun to play with. The knife does arrive dull.
