a very nice leather eyeglasses case that does everything I need it to. The leather is thin the stitching is good but the durability is suspect. The case is flimsy so don't but this eyeglass case if you need to protect your eyeglasses from external forces. This is not a rigid form of leather that offers great protection from sheering forces that could happen if you placed it in your back pocket. This eyeglass case is good if you are putting it in a pocketbook, carry on bag, satchel or other protective carrier.I took a star off because the clasp is a joke as it has almost no fastening strength. Ok it is a button clasp so I am not expecting you can pick up a 50 pound weight without it flying open. However the tiny amount of energy need to have this clasp come undone is mind numbing. With eyeglasses costing easily between $200 and $500 these days losing a pair of expensive eyeglasses to a flimsy clasp mechanism is a serious design flaw I totally think deserves a star knocked off the rating.For me since I put this case in my cargo pants pocket the clasp failing is not as big an issue but, the clasp on this eyeglass case is utterly useless so even for me it is a negative.

I'VE BEGUN CARRYING BOTH MY REGULAR CLEAR EYEGLASSES AND MY SUNGLASSES IN THIS CASE ON MY BELT. UP TO THE TIME I ACQUIRED THIS CASE I USED A CHEESY PLASTIC CASE FROM COSTCO INTO WHICH I CUT TWO SLITS SO I COULD SLIP IT MY BELT. THAT WORKED FINE, EXCEPT OF COURSE IT REALLY DIDN'T LOOK VERY COOL. I USE A BELT CASE BECAUSE I FIND THIS TO BE THE SAFEST AND MOST CONVENIENT WAY FOR ME TO CARRY MY EYE GLASSES. I FIND IT JUST TOO RISKY TO STICK THEM INTO A POCKET OR SUSPEND THEM ON THE BACK OF MY NECK, OR SOME OTHER COCKAMAMMY WAY WHEN ONE OR THE OTHER PAIR IS NOT PERCHED ON MY NOSE. THEY'RE JUST TOO IMPORTANT TO ME TO RISK BREAKAGE, NOT TO MENTION THE COST AND INCONVENIENCE OF REPLACEMENT. I'VE BEEN USING THE CASE FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS. OVER TIME THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THAT THE INTERIOR NEEDS TO BE LINED WITH SOMETHING SOFT--MAYBE FELT OR VELVET--BECAUSE THE INSIDE LEATHER IS ONLY SEMI-FINISHED. IT FEELS SOMEWHAT ROUGH, AND SO BEING CONCERNED THAT THE FACES OF THE LENSES MIGHT GET SCRATCHED, I'VE ADDED SOME SOFT MATERIAL. THIS CASE GENERALLY WORKS VERY WELL FOR ME--AND I THINK IT WITH THE ONE EXCEPTION LISTED ABOVE, WILL WORK FOR YOU AS WELL. BECAUSE OF THE ONE DEFECT MENTIONED, I'VE DROPPED MY RATING FROM 5 STARS TO 4, AS OF 6-3-2019.

The case fits on my belt perfectly and holds my sunglasses so I can easily pop open flap to put the glasses in or take them out. The question with a product like this is how long it will last, especially the belt loop. The leather seems to be rugged and durable but it all comes down the stitching. If the case lasts, it will be on my belt for a long time. If it tears loose, I'll be looking for another manufacturer.

This is a very good soft leather eyeglass case -- I like the color and texture (I don't like black accessories because they get lost in bags and drawers -- this is a nice mellow brown that will wear beautifully with time). There is a belt slide on the back, but I don't think it's practical -- it's more of a slit in the leather, not really practical to put an actual belt through it because I'm sure it will tear. But for the bag or pocket, it's great.

Beautifully made! Four stars instead of five because of the mild chemical odor (instead of pure leather odor) and the weakness of the magnet: I can't trust the magnet to keeping my glasses securely attached to my bag or purse.Holds regular glasses and oversized sunglasses, including those of a folded depth greater than 1".

this is a very classy eyeglass case, I purchased brown because it matched my purse, but the quality is absolutely amazing and the ease of opening and closing it is nice as well. It came in a timely manner and the packaging was easy to open. I would surely purchase again and maybe in a difference color. You will love it!!!

Just received a few minutes ago the eyeglass case. Very well made. Leather seems top of the line and durable. The clasp closes securely. Saw some reviews of this item complaining about the clasp. There is nothing wrong with the clasp. Excllent case and not awfully expensive. I recommend it.

Big enough for practically anything except skiing goggles. It is simple, effective and leather. The magnetic closure is a bit weak but it stays closed under average use and it does not smell like toxic waste like some of the cheap Chinese cases handed out by some optometry places.
