Water Kefir is an excellent Dairy free alternative to Milk Kefir. Water kefir is a combination of healthy probiotic bacteria and yeast held together in a matrix composed of a complex polysaccharide. Water kefir is one of the best dairy free probiotic sources available. The culture will keep multiplying as long as you take care of it and it's only a one time purchase for a lifetime supply of probiotics. You will receive one quarter (1/4) Cup of live active water kefir grains. Our Water kefir grains are cultured in pure spring water and Organic raw sugar. We only use high quality Organic ingredients and culture friendly utensils to grow our water kefir grains. We use a special package to ship water kefir grains in order to protect them and make sure they are active upon arrival. Instructions and suggestions for making water kefir will be e-mailed with notification of shipment. Printed instructions are available upon request. In addition we will provide e-mail support to answer any questions. We ship Monday Tuesday and Wednesday 1:30 PM PDT/PST time to prevent the grains from sitting over the weekend during shipment.
