EWK 13.5L Heavy Duty Pneumatic Oil Extractor/Dispenser Pump, Fluid Vacuum Evacuator with Reinforced Tank, Oil Change Pump for Automotive Large Engines

I used this fluid extractor to partially drain the transmission on my Subaru Legacy. I've read of others only getting about 4 qts of ATF drained through the drain plug but I got over 5 qts out with this extractor. My little pancake air compressor was not able to provide enough air to keep suction (no fault of this item), but the manual pump was effective and easy allowing me to complete the task. I was worried that the suction tubes would have fluid stuck to the insides after draining but the fluid did not stick. Pouring out the old fluid into a container for recycling was suprt easy as well. I can't wait to use this again for all of my future fluid changes.

I ordered one of these from amazon that was Like New. Just the box was distressed. However, the item never worked due to a vacuum leak. I contacted the company and they wouldn't stand behind the product. I would recommend steering clear of this company. A product touted as quality and at this price should have a company that stands behind it. The company also makes it difficult to contact them by phone and seems to only utilize email/support messaging. Not worth the risk.

First, the max psi I could apply was 50psi. Maybe my setup contributed to that (100psi compressor feeding a 50' hose.). It took about 30 mins to suck 2.5g of 15W-40 heated to about 90°F ambient (I let it sit in the sun 90° for about 2 hrs.). I was under the impression I could fill this with fluid, then dispense it. That's not the case. It's a completely sealed tank. Not a terrible thing, but an inconvenience. Maybe the manufacturer could point this out in the description, or maybe I missed it. Second, it would be extremely helpfulif the reservoir had qts/ltrs markings on the side. That would take the guess work out of figuring out how much oil was evacuated /dispensed. Instead I'll have to filling and removing to mark it myself. Again, not a game changer, but more of an inconvenience that EWKcould have easily added to the manufacturing process. Third, there weren't really any instructions included on how to set it up for use, or what the different knobs do. I had to Youtube it. Overall, it's a very workable product for a DYI'er. I'm planning to add a BRE400 metered handle. I'l do a follow-up to this review when I get it. Hopefully this afternoon depending on when the Amazon driver gets here.

If you own a boat or jetski this is your best friend. You can capture all the oil and then pump it back into the jugs. Also great to bleed breaks.

Change my oil quicker and did not have to get under vehicle or drive on ramps. My oil filter is in the front of engine, so was supper easy to change oil and filter. Great product.

Supplied tube that connects dipstick tube and unit is flimsy vinyl tubing that collapes immediately under vacuum, takes an incredibly long time to extract due to the restriction. I removed the vinyl section from the coupling and replaced with a length of rigid fuel hose, now it works as it should.
