Question 1

What is the akba concentration and does it have less than 5% beta-boswellic acid?

Accepted Answer

Regarding Huckle Berry's comment - I contacted the company regarding the AKBA percentage and also happened to ask if they had a 5-Loxin product. This is their reply "We do not standardized in AKBA percentage in our Boswellia Extract and no we do not have a 5-Loxin product..." I'm sticking with a 5-Loxin product because I know it is standardized to 30%, which is closest to the double blind randomized placebo controlled boswellia extract studies cited in PubMed. AKBA is the most potent anti inflammatory boswellic acid. Their 65% boswellic acid does not indicate the amount of AKBA. I want to know what I'm taking and that the formula will be the same from bottle to bottle.

Question 2

I just recieved my bottle with a large barcoded sticker that says "superior labs synthetic!". why the false advertisement saying non synthetic?

Accepted Answer

Hello. This sticker is placed on the Bottle by Amazon for inventory purposes only. Because the title can not fit on the label/barcode they apply to the bottle, the system automatically shortens the title by cutting out certain words. Here is our title "#1 Boswellia Extract by Superior Labs - Non Synthetic! - 65% Boswellic Acids. 600mg, 120 Vegetable Caps - Made in USA, 100% Money Back Guarantee" If you look at the barcode label Amazon applied you will see they cut a few words so the title fits on the their inventory barcode label. I apologize for the confusion and we have also brought this to Amazon's attention. Best Regards,Cliff-

Question 3

The botle I recieived states 2 capcules are a serviing of 600 mg, not one. That makes it 300mg per capcule . There is a sticked placed over the UPS that states 600mg. The photo in the ad shows 1 capcule as a serving. I am concerned for the value of this product. It is not to be very strong.

Accepted Answer

I received my 2nd bottle of Superior Labs Boswellia Extract yesterday. Both of my bottles say 1 capsule =600 mg. If you want to contact Superior Labs for verification/clarification, the phone # (on the bottle) is 888-708-5227. I take 1 600 mg capsule 2 Xs daily and my arthritic pain has significantly decreased.
