So far my favorite period panties!
I bought several brands of period panties as a back up to prevent leaks. The intimate portal lace trimmed ones were my favorite and the only ones I didn't return! They had the best and the most flattering cut. These are a back up panty, good for when you think you'll start, or as a back up to pads, tampons or cups. These aren't meant to be used alone. If you go too long and leak to the edges where the stitching is you'll leak through them. They are a little warm but I think any lined panty would be, how do you make something breathable and waterproof? My only really criticism is that the lining over the rear is not attached, which means it can show wrinkles in tight clothes and sometimes gives me wedgies. The other brands that I returned were 1) Hesta, which I really wanted to love because they were organic but were super tight on my thighs 2) Anigan, which received great reviews for performance but the style I picked were terribly unflattering, and 3) Funcy, which had sizing problems and inconsistency in the way they are made even though the price was great.Someone needs to make a hi-cut brief with a nice waist band and a fully attached liner that gives full protection front and back and that's pretty! Is that too much to ask?! Lol.

Basically fit and sound like a diaper.
These do not fit as shown on picture or as described. Also they are very noisy. They rustle and crinkle when you move- makes it sound like I am wearing a diaper. They absolutely would not work for moving about during the day or going out in public. Very disappointed in this product.

Changed my life!!!
Changed my life! I need to have bladder surgery; however, I am very apprehensive. I used to have to change my jeans two to three times a day due to leakage - now I don't. Also, and not least importantly, these underwear do not look like old-ladies underwear. They are very very modern appearing. These are the type of underwear I would buy even if they were not absorbent. In fact, I am going to buy more of them.

then you may not like these panties
If you are comparing to ICON, then you may not like these panties. They are certainly prettier and less expensive than ICON, however, the absorption ability is different. Moisture, etc., does not absorb into the fabric, but rather sits on top of the fabric liner.

The XL fit me just fine. I'm a trans woman recovering from lower surgery ...
I normally wear L and ordered one size up based on what I saw in other reviews. The XL fit me just fine.I'm a trans woman recovering from lower surgery and had minor complications, causing a small amount of discharge on a daily basis for many months. My gyno recommended I stop using liners 24/7 despite the issue, so these have been a life saver as they soak up everything for about 12 hours! Perfect for a work day, and saves many a bathroom trip that I did for just replacing liners.

THESE ARE THE BEST........THINGS........ EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why, oh why, did I not buy these years ago. I gave high ratings to other similar products that also work well, but these panties are my total favorite. Somehow they are cuter on than any other underwear I own. I'm tempted to wear them every day just because they're so cute. I have multiple pairs so I can wear them the whole time I'm near my period and keep wearing them when I'm on my period. My one complaint is that they can hurt a bit around the legs because they're tight there, but that seems like an essential design element so I'm ok with it. I alternate between these any another brand of period underwear to minimize that effect. I truly wish I could go back in time and buy these when I first started my period and wear them throughout my bleeding life. They are so much better than the ugly, awful undies I always wore to try to keep from ruining my nice ones. Now I can have wear cute undies on my period knowing that I won't ruin them. Score!

Love these period panties
These are great! I have very light periods and it's very annoying and uncomfortable to have to wear a pad or tampon, but if not, ruined undies. I just wore these for my period and they worked like a charm. I also felt much more attractive in these than my normal "period underwear". I bought the ones with lace and they looked pretty and retro, as opposed to "granny panties". The absorbent liner did feel a little weird, but still so much better than a pad. I will be buying a few more pairs. For reference, I would say that my "flow" is a little less than one regular tampon, or pad per day.

The best - tried MANY
The best! I have just enough bladder leakage that I need to wear a light pantiliner at all times. Not anymore! Better fit than any I have tried (I do not look or feel like an old lady) - these are actually sexy! Plus I can wear any day, not just when on or off my period. I have tried so many like this that did not work out and now I am buying enough to make it through a week!

Confort!

Stylish, high quality panties that definitely do their job.
The underwear is identical to the photo. Full bum coverage, with beautiful panels of thick, sturdy lace that extend from the top waistband to right under the bum. I bought the 'Momic 3 pack', and the colours (black/green/blue) are gorgeous. The green is a deep forest/jewel green, and the navy is very dark and rich. The spandex-cotton is a good quality, the stitching appears to be very sturdy, and the waistband is not too tight or uncomfortable. I was a little worried about sizing, as I usually wear S, but after looking at their charts I purchased an XS. When I tried it on, it fit as I would have expected a S to fit (but I usually wear cheeky style panties, so maybe the feel and fit is different in full coverage?), so definitely follow their chart rather than your usual sizing. The leak-proof lining inside the underwear is lined on one side with comfortable cotton, and the back is a waterproof plastic. I tested it out while hand-washing by collecting water in the gusset and holding it for a few moments to see whether the water would drip and drain through. It didn't! The label says machine wash cold and no tumble dry (probably due to the plastic gusset backing), so I just hand-wash it in the shower after I've worn them for the day and hang them to dry.To sum up: these are stylish, high quality panties that definitely do their job. Will certainly purchase more from this brand!

Good
I’m impressed with these and with the seller. I got large originally and they were enormous! (I’m normally a uk 12 in shops or sometimes a 10). So sent them back and got a medium. They are pretty and comfy and look pretty much like ordinary underwear. They are helpful for tampon leaks - no liner required so slightly less landfill - and also on their own for a really light day. They don’t smell either which was a concern. I wouldn’t wear them with a pad as I don’t think they would add anything. They were helpful at the start of a cycle instead of wasting a just-in-case liner. The wicking could be a little faster as unless the flow is slow or intermittent they can feel a little damp but it’s not bad and for the reasons I bought them they are very useful. Can’t comment on longevity as only used them once.

Great absorbency, replaces protection, no smells - must try and you'll stay dry!
I was very wary trying these, for the obvious reasons, but after trying out pretty much everything in the menstrual protection department, from probiotics tampons to the Mooncup, I ought to give them a go!1)SIZE : I ordered them in M, as I like being comfy during this time of the month (I definitely recommend you order one size over your usual one). They fit great, high waisted but still below the belly button, tight around the thighs and overall very comfy.2)MATERIAL : very thin, stretchy and comfortable. The little "lace" details are a nice touch. The "padded" area is incredibly thin and discreet. I ordered them in black. I confirm they are unattainable and not see-through.3)ABSORBENCY : AM-A-ZING. I was very surprised, but they actually WORK. I have abundant flow, and usually use "super" tampons that I change 4 x a day. This time, I wore only these, one in the morning, and then changing into a clean one before going to bed. Absolutely no leakage. I honestly don't know how that's possible with such a thin padding thingy, but zero stains on the sheets nor the trousers, I swear! It basically feels like when you wear a pad, except that weirdly enough, you feel a bit drier, maybe because of the material being cloth I don't know...but it feels comfy.Ah and no smells either (again, that's beyond me how they manage this, especially with changing once a day !)4)MAINTENANCE: So what I did is every time I changed, I immediately rinsed the used one under the tap with cold water, then let it soak for 5 to 10 minutes in a bowl with a bit of washing powder and a tbsp of vinegar. Then rinsed. Then hung it to dry. I live in London and between outside and next to the radiator, it takes them 24 hours to dry properly. This allowed a good turnover throughout my period at this rate, with a pack of three (7 full days of bleeding). at the end of my cycle I put them in the wash (no fabric softener though or you'll mess up the absorbent fabric!). and they're now folded up til next month !I am very happy with this discovery, which I recommend to all women. It's a natural, healthy and environment-friendly concept, and affordable with that!
