The scent is crisp, clean, and strong—exactly what you want when using peppermint for aromatherapy, massage, or even the occasional DIY project. A couple of drops in a diffuser is enough to fill a room with a refreshing coolness that helps wake me up in the morning or clear my head when I’m feeling sluggish. Topically, diluted with a carrier oil, it’s been great for tension headaches and sore muscles. I’ve also used a drop mixed into foot soaks after long days on my feet—the cooling menthol sensation is instant relief. An unexpected bonus has been its effectiveness at keeping ants and other little pests away when I dab it near baseboards. I appreciate Plant Therapy’s transparency with their GC-MS batch reports and their consistent quality control. While the 10 mL size feels small, it goes further than cheaper oils because it’s highly concentrated—you only need a few drops. The price is fair given the purity and potency. Until a few days ago, I had been using a bottle of a different brand peppermint oil I purchased from a health supplement store on a whim. I enjoyed using it in my diffuser and had no complaints. Initially, I thought peppermint was one of those scents where you couldn't possibly tell the difference between brands. I still thought that was true when I smelled this oil straight from the bottle... UNTIL I put this in my diffuser. The difference is night and day! This peppermint oil is so refreshing and energizing. I don't know if I can do it justice through my description, but the scent is cleaner and crisper. I can actually feel the tingly cooling sensation in the air. Before I purchased this peppermint oil, I had purchased Citrus Burst and Nighty Night from Plant Therapy and was pleased with the quality. That's what led me to trying more of their oils. Having done more research on different essential oil companies, I think Plant Therapy is going to be the one I purchase from exclusively when I need more oils. One of the many reasons I'm choosing PT as my favorite company is that they have the KidSafe line of essential oils. They promote safety and provide the opportunity to make educated decisions when purchasing essential oils for their children.

I love this stuff! I purchased it for multiple purposes. It's obviously a strong scent as it's peppermint, but I enjoy it. Used in an oil burner it really cleans the air in our bedroom and is a good alternative to chemical aerosol sprays that only mask odors. Also, I love adding a few drops to my bath water when I have a bad headache. It does temporarily clear up a stuffy nose, but you can't really rely on it if you have a bad cold/flu. Do NOT put it anywhere near raw skin on your face (like between your lips and nose) because it burns and stings. Silly me tried to use it like Vicks Vapo Rub. If you want to try and use it like that, rub it on your chest. Lastly, I find that it works well on sore muscles and probably menstrual cramps. It definitely gives you a cool, tingling sensation but it works wonders in distracting you from the pain you're in. My bottle is almost empty, and I look forward to buying more!

I just received this essential oil today and I am in LOVE. The peppermint essential oil is very potent and soothing. The only reason I took off a star is because of how pricey it is for a small bottle. I learned that you don’t need to use 20-30 drops like the cheaper oils. You only need to use a few drops, maybe 3 or 4. Will definitely be purchasing again when I can. Will tell my friends and family to buy this for my birthday and Xmas gifts 🙂

The oil helps to ease bowel spasms, dispel gas, Cholera, irritable bowel syndrome, colic, morning sickness, diarrhea and nausea. As well as being the best antidote for an upset stomach. The cooling properties of peppermint oil benefit by removing muscle pain. It has also been used to treat rheumatism, aching feet, menstrual pain, and neuralgia. Many skin problems such as inflammation, itchiness, scabies, dermatitis, ringworm, and sunburn can be helped with a peppermint oil treatment as well. Peppermint oil is also used topically to treat stress. At the end of a grueling, long and tiring day, treat yourself to a soak in the bath or shower after applying some drops of peppermint oil to your body. The energized results are due to the refreshing properties of the oil.

I use this for homemade sachets. Great product and love the smell. Very happy with this!

I've used this topically for headache and pain relief and internally for digestive issues. The scent is lovely and refreshing.
