It’s works great
I don’t have any complaints this does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I ran 4 displays at one time.

DO NOT BUY THIS! 4 months later and it quit working
It did it's job, for over a hundred days, but yesterday, the power became intermittent, and today it is shot.I tried using a different power supply, and the same thing happens: plug in the power supply, the power light comes on briefly and then it goes dark. DO NOT BUY THIS, unless 4 months is all you need it for. It is now beyond support. These things should last/perform for many years.Terry

Distribute 4 separate composite (yellow connector) video signals or one hi-def component
I have a need for 4 composite video distribution amplifiers. I was able to do it all in this unit. While this unit is designed to distribute one hi-def component video - a signal that requires 3 wires (red, blue, green) for one video signal. I am using it to distribute 4 separate composite video signals - yellow connector. In my case security cameras that are connected to a DVR. I am using this to split the signal before it get to the DVR so that I can also display the cameras on separate full screen monitors. I am also using a 3rd split of the signal to connect to an multi-channel RF modulator - creating CATV system where I can remotely monitor the cameras by running one coax cable and switching channels on analog TVs.

4 way component video
The prices for this amplifier are all over the map. This is a good quality component video amp to serve up to 4 receivers. I found this for a very reasonable price as a Radio Shack close-out from Amazon. I have seen a few complaints of early failure of this amp, so far no problem. Of note: some problems stating audio but no video are usually the result of one thing.. the green RCA jack for video is somehow loose, even though it appears fine. Pull the green RCA jack off and then reseat it firmly, at both ends if needed. The green RCA jack carries the sync signal that the TV needs to display a picture. The other jacks being loose only result in an odd colored picture. If audio works the amp is probably good. If no audio and the red LED for power on the amp is out, then the "wall wart" supply is bad or then poosible the amp.

The picture quality to each TV is just as good as without being split
I had two Hidef TV's connected to a satellite receiver, one through HDMI, and the other through component. Lightning killed the HDMI port. A component to HDMI converter allowed me to use both TV's again, but only one at a time. I tried a cheap component splitter cable, and while it allowed me to use both TV's simultaneously, the picture quality suffered (too dark). I tried this powered unit and what a difference. The picture quality to each TV is just as good as without being split. I'm back to the setup I had before the lightning strike -- actually better because I could now connect as many a four TV's instead of just two.

Awesome Distribution Amp
Awesome Distribution Amp. Using this to transmit video game console outputs to a capture card and my tv at the same time. Picture is clear as a bell. As a video game speedrunner I need as little input lag as possible and with this Dist Amp it's almost unnoticable. Definitely the way to go if you need to "split" a component or composite signal (as it's compatible with both). Very happy with this purchase.

Mine must be defective. It keeps dropping one of the colors. Only solution is to constantly unplug it to reset it. This lasts anywhere from a few hours to maybe a day. This is buried in my A/V cabinet, so the process is not convenient. Tried different cables, same result. Also, a warning about the seller BABA BANANA. They refused to replace the defective product which failed 2 months after purchase. Avoid them at all cost.

Works as advertised on our home theater
I needed numerous ports to hook up DVR, CD, TV and receiver. This did the trick with no audible/visual issues.
