It has a push button, which you can use as a doorbell or panic button. The panic button is useful for elders or patients who reside with their caretakers.The UT-2500 also has a universal dry contact input for normally open (N/O) or normally closed (N/C). You can use the UT-2500 with detector contacts. Plus, it has a magnetic contact that you can install on doors or windows. When someone opens the door, the transmitter will automatically send a signal to its paired receiver. Even if the receiver is 1/2 mile away from UT-2500, it will still receive the alarm signal and trigger one of the alert tunes or activate the relay outputs.The universal transmitter operates in 433.92 MHz radio frequency.
