It works
I remember a version of this product that had a BNC connector installed. This setup is bulkier and prone to separation. Especially in a vehicle.One other item, which isn’t the manufacturer’s fault, is my GM vehicle has the Motorola antenna connectors reversed causing me to need a male to male and a female to female adapter.
