This is the perfect pot for steaming vegetables or warming up soups or reheating leftovers in the microwave. Although this pot is supposed to be fine on a gas burner, I don't use it that way. It's also great to heat up my lunch soup - and eat it out of the same pot! This pot is so easy to clean, too. I love borosilicate glass pots!

Perfect size for a simmer pot especially now for the holidays, but I will probably make a small batch of soup in it also or serve vegetables on the table with it. The lid gets hot but the handles stay cool on the stove. Haven’t used it in the oven yet but it’s very nice size. Very lightweight and nice that you can see into the pot to see the progress of what you are cooking.

Looks nice but after just 1 week of use the pot shattered in the middle. I never used direct flame or high heat and it just cracked. Highly disappointed with the product. I looked at the reviews prior to purchase and thought it would be a good buy but not worth it.

The package comes without fully sealed , inside a box can be opened by anyone before me. The item comes with extra plastic cover lid and a nice cork trivet. Thank you. However, this pot base is kind of thin, I am afraid it is going to break if not using it carefully under high heat. When I point 365mm Uv light , it doesn’t glow or light pink …which means this item doesn’t con lead and cadmium, as I know so far. I am glad I have purchased this product. But to be assured, well known brand, I hope the manufacturer will cover fully sealed so I know that the product is brand new, can’t be opened by anyone before me, just like food packages … You don’t want to eat something is already opened, or can be opened by anyone.

I love this pot, especially for simmering stovetop potpourri. Its so pretty because cause you can see everything in side. Hot spuced cider and mul,ed wine. Great for cooking. The glass handles do not get hot, and the pit itself cools down once empty quite quickly.

I have always wanted to get a glass pot. The size is perfect for steaming vegetable, and heating up milk. I have been using it for less than a week. The glass feels thin but so far, no damage to the pot. I've read a few reviews that the pot broke. It is glass after all. You just have to be careful with it. If you had the pot to a boil and you need to add more water, make sure you take out the pot from the stove first to stop the boiling and to drop the temp a bit, then add water. Don't take your cooked food out of the pot and take the pot straight to the sink to wash. Let the pot cool down to room temp before washing it.

Extremely satisfied. The handle does not get hot, the size is good for 1 or 2 person family. The appearance very pleasing. There are 2 glass pots, one made in China, cheaper and the other one is Simax, cost slightly more. If you can swing it, buy Simax.
