Works Great !
For the money, you cant go wrong. I have no complaints. Added a rear camera and now I can see what I'm backing into. Features and screen rival my daughters corolla.

Not for Android Phone Owners
I have been running JVC head units for awhile now. This is the first time that I got one that I am actually going to return. I am returning it for a few reason, all of which are specific to me, so I am not going to ding it with too few stars. First of all if you are running an Android phone, this thing really only works via bluetooth. You get ZERO connectivity to an Android phone, though there is misleading information via JVC on their web site to the contrary. The other issues I have is that even via bluetooth you get no album art and honestly I have also found the bluetooth audio to sometimes not want to play. I would have to turn the unit off and then back on and finally it would connect. Also connecting to bluetooth does happen automatically, but connecting bluetooth audio and Pandora is painfully slow. I do hear some hiss via bluetooth audio, which isn't present when connecting an iPod directly. The other gripe I have is that they didn't give this unit the ability to change the button colors, the blue is very bright at night. It does dim some when you cut on your headlamps, but not enough for my taste and no way to adjust it. The display is crisp, though I find thee backgrounds they offer to be pretty poor, in fact I installed a solid blue background and that looks much better, but again that is each persons on taste. The sound quality is very good and overall if I had an iPhone I'd probably just keep this head unit. However, I found a Pioneer that I think is going to suite my taste a bit better. Pioneer seems to be further ahead JVC/Kenwood in terms of Android connectivity. I am not so interested in Apps as much as I'd like to be able to play the music on the Android phone directly via cable like an iPod. No can do with this JVC model. Plus I am big on Album Art and once again JVC doesn't seem to care much about that. I also have a SiriusXM tuner and the Pioneer offers many more features on it, including album art. Again if you have an iPhone this is likely a great head unit and so I can't say I recommend it for Android owners, but probably for anyone else it will be great. JVC makes good head units! Like always Amazon has taken good care of me as a customer and allowed me to return this model in order to get one that supports the features that I want.

Poor screen display
Its ok, if I had the choice to buy this unit again I would opt for a different one. The lack of support for Android phones it's a bit ridiculous to be honest. JVC should know Android based phones surpass IOSs last year in sales, but anyways, this is not a deal breaker. I knew this before I bought the unit. My biggest complaint it is the screen. While it's quite bright at night, during the day I cannot see the display at all unless I position my face directly in front of it. Wish it had a better screen. The display in SAT mode are very plain, basic and outdated looking, I wish it would at least support or display cover art, or even the channels/stations logos. Also, why the lack of direct tuning and a mute button? Other than that, the sound it's pretty good, zero complaints in that department.

Bluetooth DONT WORK WELL
Bluetooth DONT WORK WELL. Yes u can hear the person loud and clear when they call. But the other person cannot hear you well when u talk over the mic. Even with software update from jvc website. I had PRO sound expert make adjustment with no success. Tried different phones with no success. Had to remove the radio and buy a new one model pioneer.

Buggy Code.
I've had this radio installed for about 6 months. I have three general complains. 1. From time to time when I turn the radio on, the audio fails to work. When in FM mode there is a message about waiting (for what?) Turning off the radio does not fix the issue. Only shutting off the car clears the problem. 2. When streaming via bluetooth most times the radio will not connect when first powered on to my Phone. Switching to FM and then back to Bluetooth triggers a refresh and then the bluetooth will connect. This is true with my IPhone 4 and my Droids running Lolipop and Kitkat. One note: There is a firmware update for the radio, but the bluetooth code is still at version 1.0 and there is no update last time i checked. 3. It takes along time to boot up and turn on. Even when on FM. I have a single DIN JVC Arsenal KD-AR959BS in my other car and it does not have any of these issues. If i were to do this again, I would have installed the single DIN unit rather that this model
