Review: Good quality, nice option to have. - Came quickly. Good quality. This item is handy for lifting heavy or odd bulky items out of pressure cookers especially when hot. Unlike metal cookware and trivets, the rubber dissipates heat so is not as hot. Rubber is also more malleable around an item so it has a little give to surround and support it during a lift. This can be important after pressure cooking as many dishes lose cohesion once cooked this way. They become so tender and juicy!
Review: Best silicone sling! - I absolutely love this product. The trivet that came with my instat pot has metal handles which requires the silicone mits in order to remove. My kids are always running off with them so I can never find them. Problem solved with the silicone handles on this beauty. It fits perfectly in my pot. Whenever I do pot in pot cooking, my bowls fit perfectly and it is a breeze to set them inside and remove them from the IP. I have also used it with my 7x3 in Fat Daddio to make a cheesecake. AND....I no longer need to buy a special stand for hard boiling eggs. I can fit 14 eggs in this sling. They never crack when being hard-boiled and I can remove the entire batch intact with the sling and put into the ice bath! This savese so much time! Before I used to stack my eggs on my metal trivet. There would always be several eggs that cracked and I would have to remove each egg one by one by hand into the ice bath. I am sure I can find many more uses for this sling. I am extremely happy with this purchase. To topit all off, there is excellent customer service. Barry, the company owner, contacted me immediately upon purchase to thank me and to let know that he is available if there is anything at all that was not to my satisfaction. **Q: Can you use it in an air fryer?**
A: I have not needed to use mine during air frying as yet but I do no see why it would not make several air fryer procedures easier like French fry tossing or chicken wing tossing I’ll have to try it next I even I Ir crisp fries experiment it’s always Funtime discover new and often better methods

**Q: How many eggs will it hold?**
A: Sorry, I have not had a chance to use the sling for eggs, only for placing or removing cookware. It works fantastic for that job.  I would estimate it will hold at least seven eggs.

**Q: I bought one of these from bed bath and beyond and it looks exactly like the one you are selling but it's made by or for oxo (same price)**
A: Two different company names is quit common! Depends on who is selling them! OXO probably made both even though it doesn’t say so!

Came quickly. Good quality. This item is handy for lifting heavy or odd bulky items out of pressure cookers especially when hot. I absolutely love this product. The trivet that came with my instat pot has metal handles which requires the silicone mits in order to remove. My kids are always running off with them so I can never find them. Problem solved with the silicone handles on this beauty. It fits perfectly in my pot. Whenever I do pot in pot cooking, my bowls fit perfectly and it is a breeze to set them inside and remove them from the IP. I have also used it with my 7x3 in Fat Daddio to make a cheesecake. AND....I no longer need to buy a special stand for hard boiling eggs. I can fit 14 eggs in this sling. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding: Product, Company, and CS!

At the beginning of last week, I bought a “brand name” silicone sling on Amazon that advertised that its product “can be used in both the “6- and 8-Qt. pressure and multicookers”. (I have both a 6- and an 8-Qt. IP.) The “brand name” product didn’t work because my Fat Daddio’s 8” pan which fits in the 8 Qt. didn’t fit into this sling. The sling diameter was 7.8” and the silicone didn’t stretch, to accommodate my 8” pan. I submitted my review discussing this, and at no time did “brand name” contact me to resolve this problem. Then, at the end of last week, I ordered the Goldlion silicone sling, which has a larger diameter, measuring 8”, and the “brand” name sling fits INSIDE of the Goldlion sling, but the Goldlion is still a bit too snug to stretch its interior diameter to accommodate my 8” pan. Barry at Goldlion emailed me to thank me for my purchase, and I told him why I was now buying a sling from his company. Barry sent a 2nd email after my sling had arrived, to ask me how his sling worked. I told him that it was still a bit too tight, but wider than the “brand name”. Barry said that maximum sling diameters can only be 8” to just fit inside the 8-Qt. IP. He offered me a refund, but I said that I had solved the problem and can use my Goldlion sling. *THIS IS HOW I GOT THE SLING TO WORK: I got the trivet that came with my Instant Pot LUX80, 8Qt. I then placed the trivet ON (not IN) the sling base, with the trivet legs poking down through the sling lattice. My 8” pan rests on the trivet and the sides of the sling hold the pot in place to both insert and remove from the IP. Problem solved! (See the attached video.) I would like Goldlion to add the following sentence to its product page, so that future buyers with 8” pans can immediately use their Goldion slings and not have any problems: “NOTE: When using an 8” pan inside of an 8-Qt. Instant Pot, place the trivet that came with the Instant Pot ON the sling bed, with the trivet feet poking down through the silicone lattice. The sling sides will still hold the pan in place to insert and remove from the pan.” I rate this product at 4.5 because I had to intervene to get this sling to accommodate my 8” pan. But Amazon doesn’t accept .5 increments. Because of Barry’s outstanding CS 2 times, I will bump this up to 5 stars and will deal exclusively with Goldlion in the future instead of “brand name”.
