Invincible Marine BR51405 Fuse

Have used a few of these in my boat. Fuse blocks are better, but sometimes you just need an inline fuse. I've searched high and low, and as far as I can see, these cannot be beat for marine inline fuses. I've tried others, and so far these are the only ones that don't suck.EDIT APRIL 2020: I came back to order another, however the photos are different now, and no longer look like what I got before. A more recent review made note of a cheap plastic, non-water-resistant housing, which was not my experience with earlier purchases of this item. I wonder if the product has changed. I'm no longer feeling confident to buy another. Now I will have to hunt for an alternative.

When you need an accessible fuse, this is the solution. I needed to replace a fuse on an RV refrigerator which necessitated removing the refrigerator just to get to the fuse's location. So, once I had the fridge removed, I put this in its place and now, should I need to replace the fuse in the future, I won't have to pull out the refrigerator to do so. So far, the new fuse has held up well and this seems to be very well built with heavier wire than I expected.

Added this to my battery box for my overland build. Wanted higher gauge wire (less resistance), and waterproof. This one to me seems to fit that requirement on both fronts. I was adding 2 12V plugs to my battery box, and wanted some sort of overload protection, and now feel a bit better that I have it.

This is a four star product but hopefully others will read this review because there is an important warning. I bought this because it will take a 30 amp fuse and most of them only take 20 amps. I suspect it's because they make it with 12 gauge wire, which is great. They include a fuse however the WARNING is that it is 20 amps and not 30. They should either include a 30 amp fuse or no fuse so there are no mix-ups. I believe that most people would buy this because it takes 30 amps and the others I viewed only took 20 amps.Overall it appears to be a good product and has worked fine so far. It's only been on my boat a couple of weeks now (on my downriggers) and if anything changes I will come back and update this review.How I review:When I review a product said product automatically starts with four stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars. We needed this to replace a fried one on our camper. After searching around, we found this one. It was replaced fairly easily and works great so far!

My old in-line fuse burnt out on me last year while camping. This one is a perfect replacement for it. I just cut the old one out and plugged this one in it’s place. No hassle.

Much improved with this installed. The connection was not good on my 1 year old camper power winch with stock 30 amp fuse. Wire would overheat if/when it worked. With new item, winch works much better. No overheating.

Arrived quickly and is exactly as described and shown in advertising photo(s). Product is well-made and is working great so far. Used for my golf cart headlights to replace an older worn out inline fuse holder.
