GCI Outdoor Pod Rocker Outdoor Rocking Chair with SunShade Canopy

I sat in a rocking chair from this company at someone's home and loved it. Then I looked up the brand and found this chair, even better than the one I tried. This chair is wide, has arm rests, has a place for my phone and for a drink. There is also a sun shade that can be flipped back when not in use. Most important to me this is a great rocking chair. The legs terminate in two ski-like bases. This allows you to sit comfortably in sand or dirt without sinking. When you rock forward, or go to stand up, two additional legs make contact with the ground. This gives you more support to stand. The chair is a little heavy, but worth it for the experience of a sturdy chair with a comfortable seat and a great rocking motion. I advise you check the dimensions and weight in the description. I cannot more strongly recommend this chair. The only thing I cannot address is durability, because I haven't had it long.

Such a great chair! I bring mine to my son's football and baseball games and it is much more comfortable that the other folding camping chairs we had because it's wider and there's nothing to dig into your legs. The rocking function is great and the sun shade is perfect and can be moved all the way forward or all the way back. You will not sit straight upright like in other chairs, you will sort of lounge back in it, which makes it even more comfortable. The chair is very sturdy and sits well on uneven ground. The color is nice and so far has not faded in the sun this year. It is definitely heavier to carry in the bag because of the hydraulics and additional framing but I am happy with the purchase!

Awesome chairs! Very comfortable to sit in, even for hours. Love that they rock, and the shade has been a life saver for summer baseball games. Easy to set up and put back into the carrying bag. Very durable so far as well.

Love these! The shade is what makes it the best. We love the rocking feature, too.What to know: they are a little on the heavy side. They condense down, but are still quite large. My husband is 5’11”, 230 lbs. and this is very comfortable/sturdy for him, too.

I've been searching for a new chair for the baseball field for a while, and as soon as I came across this one, I knew it was the one. I love the classic navy color — it's both chic and timeless, plus it won’t show dirt easily. It’s incredibly comfortable, and setup is a breeze. It pops right open and folds down quickly and easily. Highly recommend!

We had the original GCI Rocker Freestyle that folded flat and was awkward to carry (but was still awesome), so we were looking for a more portable option. Picked these up on sale and have loved them! They collapse into a nice travel bag for much easier storage and transport. When open, they are comfortable and sturdy. My only warning is that unlike the classic model where it's more of a seat and you can sit up right, these have you in a more lounging, leaning back position. In addition, these are lower to the ground, so they may not be the best for elderly folks. For me, a middle aged man who get's around well, it's not an issue. As for quality and construction, we have owned 6 GCI chairs of different models for about 3-4 years and they have all held up well. The most I've had to do is to use a little WD-40 to eliminate a squeak. My wife even ran one over and bent the frame, but we still use it! I highly recommend GCI products! The only "negative" would be the weight -- they are not light, but it's not surprising when you consider how sturdy they are. My wife can carry it, but she doesn't like to.

This is everyone's favorite chair when we go to my grandsons baseball games the shade thingy is a game changer very helpful to block out the sun heat moved very easily and it stays even when the wind is blowing slightly harder. The rocking is pretty nice but the wideness of it make it so cool you can put a blanket around you and not having it hit the dirt floor since it so wide. My 7 month granddaughter loves it because we can put her in it and it like a bassinet. the cup holder is cool holds a regular size drink and also something small because it has a draw string to compensate the smaller size so it wont spill. The phone holder so convenient do you can not loose your phone.
