Decided to give as a Christmas present. They have used it already a couple of times and gives them precise overviews as each city is thoroughly assessed with activities. Makes a great coffee table book for anyone. New York is big , moves so fast and NEW York natives are the best, assuming you can understand their accent. When I first received it, I looked up my city which had all the stuff I recommend to other people, even down to restaurant recommendations. Several other cities I know all had excellent recommendations. That's how we knew to trust what this book had to say for places we've never been. We've used this book several times to help plan our trips and we are always very pleased. A lot of these in recommendations are on the NYT website, but the book is nice to have and looks beautiful on a shelf.
