Great Value, Great Item
This caviar is an excellent offering if you don't have hundreds of dollars to spend. Nice taste, appearance, form and consistency. It has been a "go-to" favorite of mine for years now. Serve this with some table-water crackers, and you've got an hors d'oeuvres that's sure to be appreciated.

Too salty!
This caviar is absolutely horrible! Don’t buy it! Too salty, that you can’t even taste anything else. Like eating spoon off salt. No wonder they don’t allow to return this item

Great for the price, but know what to expect and treat it right.
It's my first time with caviar and I'm sure for the price it's not exactly the best ofc, lol but for the money I'd say it's tasty. It tastes like a more mild and smooth flavor of anchovies almost so if you've had those then you know what to expect. I had it on whole wheat Ritz Crackers with dried chives, dill, slices red radish, and half of the crackers with cream cheese and the other with sour cream as the creme fresh or whatever it's called wasn't at my Walmart. Hard to say which was best but I'd lean towards the cream cheese. It was definitely a good snack that was surprisingly satisfying and were I to have a nice cool beer I bet it would've tasted even better with the beer washing away the salty flavor that lingers for a minute or two. Definitely would buy again.

As good as $100 tins! Love this quality so much!

Inexpensive but salty
Its not bad for this price but the caviar is low quality and really salty. Eating it with lightly salted crackers makes it even saltier. I wasn’t expecting anything great considering that usually caviar is expensive and this wasn’t. If you want to try it go ahead cause it’s not that bad for the price but just know that the caviar is low quality and salty. Overall not sure if I’ll ever buy it again but maybe I will considering that Amazon doesn’t really have much good options when it comes to caviar.

Romanoff Black Lumpfish Caviar
Likely more than 95% of caviar I have eaten has been Romanoff. Some say it is not actually caviar having its origin in something other than sturgeon. I have eaten other "caviar" and enjoyed it. At the Central Market in Budapest, I purchased Russian caviar, it was not expensive but more costly than Romanoff..inedible and discarded. For me, poor me, Romanoff Black Lumpfish "caviar" is what caviar is all about. I enjoy it mostly on crackers with a smear of cream cheese and a mound of Romanoff caviar, real enough caviar for me.
