Ove Decors ADAM Adam 42-Inch Vanity in Dark Cherry with Black Granite Vanity Top and White Basin

We bought the vanity based on the good reviews but are overall disappointed.The item we received has a pitch black granite counter top which is very different from the one shown in the product photo (in the photo it shows some nice white dots/inclusions in the granite). We were very disappointed about this and our first thought was "this is not granite".Since we were on a tight remodeling time frame, we installed the vanity only to realize that the include backsplash is about an inch too short. We called Ove Decors customer service in Quebec and were basically shown the finger over the phone: "No, we can't guarantee that you get a counter top like in the product photo", "no, we can't ship you a replacement counter top, because we don't stock them and they break when we ship them" and "no, you can't remove the pre-glued counter top of the vanity because it voids warranty."Regarding the backsplash we were told that "we should send a photo" but it was implied in the conversation that "they are all short." Furthermore we were informed that side splashes are not available but we could buy a backsplash and then cut it ourselves ("that's what all customers do").The cabinet itself is nicely made but I would not recommend this product nor am I willing to buy another product from Ove Decors.I'll attach a photo of the "short" backsplash and our "beautiful pitch black granite" that looks like plastic so you can judge yourself....

What I received was obviously a vanity that had been used and returned. Ove Decors agreed after my sending them photos, that the granite was in bad shape...dull, worn, marked. However, they would not agree to replace it. They asked me to get a quote for having it refinished. There are no companies in my area to do this, not that I should have to go through this with a brand new $900 vanity. Also, and I would have lived with this, all of the nail holes on the sides stand out like sore thumbs. Looks like they were filled in with putty that doesn’t take stain color. I am absolutely disgusted with this entire vanity.

Cabinet looks great, well made, and looks good with a brushed nickel fixture set. I did have to seek out replacement drawer and door pulls in brushed nickel, but found them easily. A fine idea would be to just sell this cabinet with options for door-pulls. Still, though, not bad. Only negative (if you can call it that) is that it's kind of a pain to keep the countertop clean because it's black--really, really black. Also: The faucet fixture hole is a little close to the back of the cabinet, make sure to select a fixture with the drain lever on top or the sides (rather than on the back of the fixture) or the hardware may be a bit tough to operate.Still though, with the right fixture, this is a superb vanity for the money.

Beautiful, well made sinks, very well packaged. Unfortunately, ABF Freight, which delivered my sinks, (I bought 2), came to deliver with only one person, (the driver), who said all he could do was set them in the garage or driveway-no way he could put them on the front porch, let alone in the house. He stated that the only other option I had was to have him take them back. As I had the plumber remove the old sinks the day before, this was obviously not an option. I called both ABF and Amazon, as I was under the impression when ordering that the sinks would be carried into the house at delivery due to their weight.. Apparently I was mistaken. Very disappointed in both Amazon and ABF Freight.....That being said, my plumber managed to maneuver these 200+ lb sinks into the house, and installed, they are lovely!

I couldn't find a 42" vanity locally because some higher power somewhere apparently decided that the United States only needs vanities in full foot increments (3,4,or 5 foot etc). Amazon came through with the 3.5 foot size that I needed. Delivery was about a week but it could be longer depending on your trucking company. No complaints at all.

Well built and finished including a solid wood shelf. The slow close drawers work as intended but require a very firm pull to open. This makes it hard to peak into each drawer quickly. The slow close Doors also work as intended but should you not open them more than 4 or 5 inches they will slam shut. Small gripes for an otherwise great looking unit.

I really like the bath vanity and the delivery service was amazing, BUT when we unpacked the vanity it was marred inside of the packaging. That is, someone packaged the vanity knowing it was damaged. Disappointing.

This vanity is beautiful, well made, well packed, I couldn't be happier. Also, the basin is not as shallow as it appears in the picture -
