It works perfectly on card and different types of paper. **Q: what age range are these suitable for? Would they be suitable for a 5 year old?** A: I bought for my 6 year old then daughter. She loves them. I would say from age 4-5, as soon as kids understand that you don't need push too hard to draw. I really recommend them.
