I don't know what it is but I think my bag of tea is old; when steeped for the recommended time it taste like plan water. Also the color of my water is still clear....is this normal?

Satisfied - good product
I used it in combination with other hair growth promoting herbs. By itself it tastes like a dried plant - nothing particularly aromatic. However, I find a teaspoon or two of honey makes the world of difference in the palatabilty of medicinal teas.My hair is growing quickly but I am practicing many techniques such as use of 'hairdrenalin potion" monthly, gentle care, water washing, herbal hair growth teas (i.e. oatstraw, butcher's broom, nettle, and lavender daily with added horsetail [shavegrass] 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off), only natural products, etc - just to name a few. I have combination Type 4, 3c, 3b, 3a AND 2 hair of various thicknesses - lucky me. However, I have achieved about 1 to 1.5 inch growth average per month.Bamboo tea received many good anecdotal and videoed reviews. I chose this one due to the reasonable price, prepackaged packs and six extra. There were no disappointments with my receipt and use. I will be purchasing it again. However, I try to be careful about not doing any one technique (except for natural product moisturization (especially shea butter with other oils - many to choose from)) since I understood from my research that the hair can aclimatize to any treatment and thus not continue to acheive the shocking results it originally had. I am essentially rotating through different jump starts. So I will likely use this one month on and one month off until I acheive waist length.

Is this really BAMBOO??? I'm not so sure...
Although delivery was good I have to say I'm quite disappointed overall with my purchase and these are the reasons why:1. Price - I paid $30 for this bag and it's now selling for $15! I should be refunded my money for the fluctuation in pricing in such a short amount of time. I just ordered it a few days ago!2. Smell - Honestly, it smells like Weed! I abhor the smell of Weed and cannot stand it when I smell it in the street so imagine my cup of tea smelling like that stuff. Horrible!3. Brewing time - I've had this tea bag steeping for about 10 minutes and it's very light in color compared to the other brand of bamboo tea I purchased.3. Taste - After all that time steeping and not seeing any real changes to my tea I finally tasted it and the taste is just blah, in fact it actually taste like the smell of Weed. Gross! So now I'm stuck with this $30 bag of tea which I don't feel is worth it. I don't know what this stuff is but if I start getting complaints about my eyes glazing over I will know why! I will not be repurchasing and will be going back to the other bamboo tea I purchased which 1. cost less & 2. taste/smell way better than this stuff!

Very bland tea
I wasn't sure what to expect with this tea, it's about as bland as you can get, very little flavor, very mild.

Smooth taste
Nice, mild and smooth tasting tea. I ordered it as a referral from someone that recommended bamboo tea to help grow hair, but I haven't seen those results in the last month. I'll update if I do

The taste was a bit earthy, but definitely drinkable. I have noticed the benefits to my hair and nails. Both are much stronger and grow faster.

Not the best bamboo teabags around.
