What sort of plug of plug is needed for this pump? Or can it be a basic one? Just wondering if there is a minimum power plug or special one required

Jack, In theory, you can use a standard 13 amp UK mains plug on this pump. This would require that the unit is going to be plugged into an indoor socket or an outdoor socket which is inside an approved weatherproof housing. In addition, the electrical supply has to include an RCD device, to provide safety in case of faults developing in the pump or wiring. If you don't have the relevant expertise (and the fact that you've asked this question suggests that you don't) you should really consult a qualified electrician before using the pump. Water and electricity are a lethal combination.

Will this give me a nice gentle flow over my rock feature? I have a 19mm pipe 45cm height.

It's very likely that you will ned to fit a valve in your pipe to control the flow rate. I use a similar  size pipe and am feeding a small header pond approx. 1 mtr above the pump. I have to keep the flow throttled right back. As a general rule, if you are feeding a feature which has a narrow channel for the water to flow down, you need to keep the flow rate low.  If you have a wider channel, it will handle a higher flow rate.
You can get plastic valves from aquatic  centres. I tried one initially but it was difficult to get a fine control of the flow. Currently I use a 22mm brass gate valve, which became redundant from its original job when I had a new boiler fitted about 12 years ago.

As your pond is only 50lts this Swell 1400 is ample to filter your pond and cheap to run. You may even consider getting a smaller pump.
