Soft Material
Yes this material is soft so be careful when pealing plastic covering off. I use tweezers to pull plastic cover off. Peel off one side and leave other plastic side on so as to help fit NVMe. Very stickie holds well to NVME 2080 SSD. Cools very well, I have a IR temperature laser gun and use it to check TEMP. This product fit the size of NVMe perfectly. Be careful DO NOT touch product after removing plastic This STICKS to everything even your fingers and could tear. Got the 4 pack to have extra if needed.

Good thermal pad to use when replacing an SSD on your laptop computer
Thick, sticky, and transfer heat well. Good value too. It was tempting to skip these, but now I've had a chance to feel the heat of the drive when it's operating so I'm glad I didn't skip, especially at this price.

Good Quality, Good Compression, Good Energy Transfer
The title says it all.These pads almost feel wet and cold just sitting in the container (they're actually just at room temperature)The composition of the material makes it slightly sticky, which is great for placement and fit when using a heatsink or heat spreader along with a retaining clip or retention bracket.I used this on memory, MOSFETs, and an SSD with a combination of spreaders and sinks and saw a significant improvement in energy dissipation.

Happy With Purchase; Packaged Well
Have not tested the heat retention, which is probably the most important part of the review. Ease of installation is good; each thermal pad comes with 2 plastic covers on both sides that easily peel off. Product overall is packaged well.Durability is what you’d expect for a thermal pad, can tear it easily if you want, but if you’re gentle it doesn’t tear. Adhesive quality is good. Thickness is as advertised.Will purchase again after I give it some time to see how durable it is. I’ll include a few photos.
