I tried my best to use it on a door panel, but could not get it to stick in one of the corners. But the worse was that small specs of material will leave a tiny bump visible on the outside. Obviously you need the layer perfectly clean. In my case it was very difficult to have a perfect application layer because of a thin layer of some substance that I just could not sand off fully.
