Amazon sent me the wrong model, they look exactly the same but the one I got did not have Bluetooth capability. I did not want to return it so they credited me back the difference in price.The unit came well packed and is nice looking and easy to operate. I noticed a couple of minor cosmetic flaws on the lid, but nothing I couldn’t deal with.The sound is only ok thru the internal speakers. There is a bass boost button that improves the sound but just a little. The speakers start to distort at about 50% of the volume knob. I plan on adding external speakers so again no big deal for me.Turntable plays well, and all the other source options are just icing on the cake.Heads up.. if you have the mini plug cable plugged into the Aux input the turntable will not turn on.All in all this unit is handsome, easy to use, and seems to be fairly well made. Glad I kept it

This Pyle media player is fantastic and what I've been hoping for a long time someone would put together! I have Ion encoder gear, but it has to be connected by a web of wires to my PC to record MP3's. This Pyle unit is self-contained and does it all in one neat cabinet, which is attractive overall. I'll probably kill it with the hundreds, if not thousands, of old LP and cassette tunes from my old collections that I want to make into digital format. It'll test the mettle of this unit and I can update sometime ahead. I need to add a turntable pad ... the turntable 'rumble' is noticeable in play and record. Don't expect room-filling sound from this set! At best it's mostly like a typical tabletop radio or old small boombox CD/cassette/am-fm unit, most with much better bass boost. Pyle has a "bass boost," but it's rather 'eh.' The sound is very crisp and clear, however, and the transfer of music to MP3 via the flash drive is excellent! If your source material is good the resulting MP3 will be also. A sound editing program will polish your collection even more. I'm more than satisfied with this set and it's all in one neat box you just feed LP's and cassettes into. Very good value pricing as well.

This product worked great when we first got it, just about 2 years ago. It is not out main entertainment center and we only use it around holidays when we have company for background. I had not used it for several months. When I turned it on for Christmas, the unit was completely dead. So I checked the outlet and power cord and found them ok. So I contacted the manufacturer to see if it was a fuse or something that I could fix. The reply that i got was to1 - send it to: Pyle Service Center 1600 63rd St. Brooklyn, NY 11204 (I am in California)2 - Then they will tell me that it is out of warranty, which I already know3 - I must include a prepaid shipping label or a $25 money order to cover the return shipping4 - No estimate of repair costs, which I am willing to pay.5 - No local shop that can check it outIn other words, send it in and they will tell me that it is unrepairable or that the repair will be prohibitive and I will have paid shipping both ways for the privilege of getting the bad newsSo, if you want a unit that looks great and works great for a while but is unrepairable when a problem arises then you are welcome to it.

Note: I bought this on the Amazon Marketplace. The rating was "like new" but I would take this into consideration when reading this review.I really have nothing but good things to say about this box except for one important fact:The wood, at least on the lid, is not wood. It is composite with a wood veneer. I assume that this holds true for the rest of the unit as well.When I opened the box, and put the unit on the table, I noticed that the veneer was peeling very slightly on the top. I slid a small thin knife blade with some Gorilla Glue on it and all is perfect.That's it..Everything that I've tested works great:* The CD works and sounds fantastic* AUX in works great -- I just purchased a very tiny bluetooth receiver to easily hook up my tablet and/or phone to stream* The turntable works -- Is it "professional" quality? No, but remember this is an under $200 unit. It sounds pretty darn good to meI haven't tested cassettes, nor do I think I ever will. I'll be testing the recording feature soon and will update my post.Additional pro:It's rated for 110 - 240 so it'll work overseas with no problems.UPDATE: March 4, 2014* CD Door does not open* USB device not recognized* SD cards not recognizedThe only good thing is that Amazon is being GREAT about accepting this back. I really wanted to keep it... sound is still good but the features I bought it for just don't work. Shame

It's a really nice looking system with versatility. It's not a high end stereo but the sound is good and I find myself listening to old cassettes and the radio a lot while in my study. The recording feature is pretty good but there is a few second delay from when you select record. It's not a big deal once you get the timing down. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the stylis sometimes skips on some of my records. It doesn't skip on every record but the ones it does skip on occurs in the same spot. Could be due to slight warping or error in the record but the same records do not skip on my high end turntable. On that turntable I can adjust the weight of the arm but you cannot on this one. It would be nice if you could adjust the weight but I am thinking of taping a small fishing weight on the arm for the few records that skip. If I do I will shave a very tiny amount so as not to put too much weight.All in all though I really love this system. The finish is nice, it looks good in my den and the sound is pretty decent.

It arrived late. Almost for 2 months I was made to wait. But it is an excellent product delivered with 110 volt adopter in package. In built speakers give excellent sound. Only thing it lacks is SW bands. Also stylus is not good and I am searching a better option as BASS is not upto mark on my YAMAHA 5.1 system.
