A little tricky to install, but feels sturdy and looks very nice. Matches a towel ring I purchased from Amazon as well. I love that the roll part is not a cheap looking white.

This is a great quality product. I liked it so much I bought a second one for another bathroom. I looked at three hardware stores locally and their oil bronze TP holders looked cheap and garish. I took a chance on this online order and it was perfect. Very nice looking style, good quality metal, and easy to install. I highly recommend, and I am picky. Double check the template, however. For the first one I bought, the template was wrong and I had to redo everything.

I bought this to update my toilet paper holder to dark bronze after I changed my faucet to oil rubbed bronze. It appears that this format with the spring loaded center and two posts is less popular than it was 30+ years ago when my house was built. I wanted one that could possibly just fit where the old one was and I'd not have to do wall paper repair and such. I wasn't quite that lucky, I had to make little square things to go between the wall paper and the holder, not a huge issue but it took a bit of time. This is a pretty nice item, it matches the style of my new faucet. The oil rubbed finish is a bit more random and hand finished then I expected but it looks quite nice. The one flaw, when I use my normal large roll of toilet paper the part that extends from the wall touches the toilet paper and it binds a bit. It sets off the wall the same as my old one but the wide part of the holder narrows down toward the wall and it binds the TP. If you're a bit more careful tugging on the toilet paper things work fine, but you should know the TP doesn't freely rotate.

Interesting that a beloved brand of toilet paper would be driving a product search. But since, over the years, toilet paper manufacturers have been making rolls skinnier and narrower in an effort to boost their profitability (less paper + increased cost), manufacturers of toilet paper holders have followed suit. In my house built in the 1980's, all of the toilet paper holders worked for Kirkland paper. When I tried to upgrade, I could not find one that the rolls would fit on. This toilet paper holder WORKS for Kirkland rolls, both width and depth. HOWEVER, you need to mount it slightly wider than the template shows so that the edges of a full roll do not rub on the flared back of the mount. It attaches securely and is rugged, AND the springy roll tube is even metal, not plastic.

I like that this did not feel cheap. It works great.

Beautiful and half the cost of hardware store. It came in a box with foam packing.
