I hate white wire closet shelving for so many reasons, especially how things can fall through the openings, bottles do not sit straight, etc. I found it too costly to replace the wire shelving in my closets, so I purchased this product. Wow, does it solve all my issues with wire closet shelving. No more wobbling bottles or small objects falling through the spaces. With this shelving liner, bottles stand straight, and I can easily slide items across the shelf without getting caught in the spaces. It is easy to clean, too - just dust with dry rag or, for spills and bottle rings, wipe with a damp cloth and dry. They are so easy to install. Just use regular scissors to cut to desired length, place on your shelf and press down the tabs to hold the liner securely to your shelf. I like this product so much that I am going to order more for my garage wire shelving units.

Those plastic coated wire shelves are starting to disintegrate in the Florida humidity. We are in a rental and so we needed an inexpensive way to cover them as they were messing up musical equipment we stored on them and boxes were sticking to them...yuck. We had tried othere types of liners, but this one we like the best. It comes in both 12 and 16 inch width. It is very durable and it has these tabs that you can put into the wire shelving to keep the liner from moving about. That has proven an ingenius solution to the liners moving and getting out of place. We just ordered a bunch more for the rest of the shelves!

I had gotten this shelf liner for the wire shelves in my pantry. The width fit my 16” shelves perfectly. For the length, I laid the liner on the shelf from end to end and marked where I wanted to cut with a sharpie. Cutting the liner was super easy when using something like a can to hold down each end. Since the liner came rolled, it curled back up after being cut, but that wasn’t an issue. Only real downside of this product is that the tabs didn’t exactly line up with the slots in the shelf on the cut pieces, probably due to the length and spacing on the ends, etc. Some of the tabs laid directly on top of the wires going along the width of the shelves, so I either had to force them in or leave the tabs out. There wasn’t a single shelf that didn’t have a couple of tabs on each end that didn’t line up fairly well, however, so it ended up working just fine. After putting some cans and boxes of snacks on the end of each shelf for a day, the curling stopped. Overall these shelf liners are a great quick solution to wire shelving, especially for the price. They look great and are easy to clean. I originally set these liners up in the beginning of May, and as of the end of July they don’t have any damage to the tabs.

Love these! I have wire shelves in my pantry that have always annoyed me because of its moving. I saw these and gave them a try. They work great. They stay in place perfectly and nothing slides around on them.

The 10' roll was actually 9' 11". I found this as I cut it into 2' sections. I placed the short section where it will be least noticed. And since it's in place, I'll leave it. It does perform the basic function of keeping smaller items from falling through the wire gaps. It was reasonably easy to cut and install. I can't rate it for ease of cleaning. As expected, it is not thick enough to compensate for any of the shelf warp from front to rear. For that I'd need the shelf liners that come much dearer or better wire shelves.

These flatten out as fast as other wire shelf liners. You can either: 1) put pieces of it on a table or floor and put some things on top to weigh it down for a few days to flatten it. 2) put it immediately onto a shelf, add some of the things you want to store on top of it ... into each corner to flatten it out. If you don’t have enough stuff ready to store, just grab a few things from around your home and put 1 or 2 in each corner. Due to the differences in wire shelves, naturally the tabs aren’t going to align with the openings in the wires at least some of the time. But even if they don’t, the liners will still work as well as liners without tabs, and the pricing is similar. In other words, I think it’s a strong product because the majority of the time, at least 1 of the tabs will line up with a wire opening, and your liner will be more secured than if it had 0 tabs in the wires. Much of the time 2 tabs will line up with openings, and sometimes 3 or more tab will line up. But even when a portion of the strips you cut don’t have any tabs line up, the cover will still be as good as a cover with no tabs. Also a tip is: initially cut the piece to be about 1 or 1.5” longer than needed, then put it down and find out where the most tabs will line up with openings. At that point in time, there will be some extra liner on 1 side or both of the sides that you will cut off. It only takes about 15 seconds to do 1 cut. With this approach, 100% of the pieces you cut will have at least 1 tab match up with an opening, and often you’ll have 2 or more tabs match up.

This is so easy to install and makes wire shelves so much more useable! I was a little worried the tabs to install wouldn’t line up but they worked like a charm.

My pantry storage containers weren’t standing completely straight on the wire shelves and this was making my brain upset. The price was a little expensive, but other people’s reviews and photos looked promising, so I got one pack to try. You guys. It’s glorious. It won’t change your life, but it will stop your storage containers from tilting and will also get you a ton of compliments from your mother in law. She literally stood in the pantry closet multiple times admiring the liner. It comes in a roll and you can cut to the length that you need. There was only enough to line two shelves in my pantry, so it helps to take some measurements before you buy. I plan to get another pack. Hopefully it will go on sale. Docking one star bc of price vs. what you get. But what you get is a pretty convenient and customizable solution.
