Christmas Traditions
Fantastic ideas in this book. If you decide to make the table runner. Unfortunately, the materials list does not call for 2 11" squares that you will be putting the flowers on. If you know ahead of time, you will have to cut these and use them, no problem, but a whole step has been left out. Don't let that stop you from buying the book - it is very good and even a beginner should be able to figure out how to complete the ends of the runner with what I have said.

These are really pretty and not too difficult to make
These are really pretty and not too difficult to make. I have made 3 table runners so far. I will be giving them as Christmas gifts this year. It takes me about 4 days from start to finish to make one of these. I am getting better with each one I make. I would recommend a mini craft iron for pressing the gold lame bias tape. Jo Ann fabrics carry them. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the book never mentioned how to cut out the fabric that goes around the poinsettias at the ends of the runner. I made my own template. I am recommending this book because the pieces I made turned out so nice and it looks expensive. (Photo is of the first one I made, without the binding on it.)

Stained Glass Quilting
My booklet arrived as scheduled. It was a used booklet and it was in perfect condition. I have not been able to make any of the projects, but look forward to in the future.

Need an angel pattern in stained glass for the wonderful nurses at M D Anderson Caner Center in Houston TX.
The instructions are easy to follow and I've made several. I will make more for Christmas gifts. Now I am searching for an angel pattern in stained glass to make for all the angel nurses at M D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. They are so caring and kind to my husband who has several kinds of cancer.

First attempt at a stained glass project.
It is the first time I have made anything using the stained glass technique. I have found her pattern for the tree skirt to be complete, easy to follow and with good suggestions. In fact if you collect all your supplies ahead of time, I believe it can be a pretty quick project and a lot of fun to make. I was able to find 60" wide fusible woven interfacing for the foundation online, which made transferring the pattern much easier. I am very happy with this pattern, not only does it look great, her directions made it easy to do even for a first timer like me. In fact I like the pattern enough that even though I am still working on this one, I am thinking about making another.
