Finally, Pacific Baby figured out how to make a toddler top. The flip top was a monumental waste of money because it's impossible to assemble, thanks to the poorly designed silicone disc inside.This one works. There are three parts to take out from the plastic body: the top silicone straw with valve, the inner plastic straw, and a ring that fits around the inside of the top to create a tight seal. Disassembly/assembly/cleaning is easy.So why only four stars? The aesthetics are offensive. Not only is it unattractive once on the bottle, but for the most part the colors don't go well with the bottle designs. These are expensive bottles and part of the reason people buy these over other double wall insulated stainless bottles is because of the cuteness factor. Why not make coordinating ones people can pick themselves?

This cap cracks very easily, especially if your child drops it on the floor frequently (which is pretty normal). The little part that covers the straw pops off first then the entire thing cracks and leaks everywhere. It’s also pretty expensive for the quality.

This is the best thermos for baby, keeps ice all day as long as 8 hours. I am not interested in the warm stuff so I didn't try it. The accessories are just great and baby love them all, although she use mostly the nipple. People are amazed by this thermos. And with the handle baby can hold the thermos without help. It is great.

I purchased this as a replacement for a straw top cap that split after being dropped one too many times - after more than a year's worth of use. This replacement cap was TERRIBLE! First of all, the straw constantly got caught under the movable cover, making it very difficult for me to open the cap (and impossible for my son). On its second use, the bottle fell off the table and the straw top split. I was able to glue the crack, and this held for a while. But the crack expanded because of the stress placed on it by the straw getting stuck under the cover.
