Nintendo amiibo series Shulk Collectible Figure, 7cm

Packaging: Like any other Amiibo, Shulk arrived in a box with a render of himself on the front and some in-gameplay screenshots on the back. The Amiibo itself is held by sturdy plastic which makes it unlikely for it to arrive damaged.Figure: Shulk is one of the best detailed Amiibos to date. Everything in his render image is painted, sculpted, and created accurately and precisely. From his clothes down to his facial expression, it's just about as if the manufacturers 3D printed him from his render! The Monado in his right hand has the same quality! Shulk's leg is supported by a sturdy clear stand supported to another stand.GamePlay: As of the date this review is published, he works in Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Just like any other Amiibo, he starts out at level 1, which may seem really weak at first. However, as he participates in more Smash battles, he starts to get a good rhythm going and levels up. At the maximum level 50, he can start really feeling the power as either the ultimate ally or rival. He does collect random customs and treasures during gameplay, which can be used to give him stat boosts. Additionally, he does work with Hyrule Warriors, but only distributes random items once a day.Miscellaneous/Interesting facts: If you receive a Japanese version, there's a small manual about Amiibo underneath the Amiibo itself, but it's not really needed. Regardless of whatever region, he'll work on any region console or handheld.Overall: If you like Smash Bros., Amiibos, Shulk, and/or the Xenoblade Chronicle series, this is very likely to help you really feel that good rhythm for your games! The only concern is his Monado; sometimes, it may bend or curve if you pack it in a crowded bag or space. This can be easily reprehended if Shulk is placed in bags with a "slot" where the Monado won't be pressed. The future is yours to decide, so if you can afford one, go get this A+ product!

Like many people, I have been trying to collect every amiibo. But I actually enjoy using them, rather than keeping them indefinitely trapped in their plastic prison. So these Japanese and EU region amiibos are great for me, since they are usually cheaper than North American ones, and only the box is different, which I open anyway. I also like the option of having one come in two days with Prime rather than waiting forever on an eBay option. So while it is regrettable that they are still higher than MSRP here, it's still better than nothing.As you can see in my photos, the physical amiibo figure is literally the exact same across all regions, including the writing on the bottom of the platform. And they are all region free and will work an any region Wii U.Shulk can be used in a major way in Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U and Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, and in a minor, generic way in Mario Party 10, Hyrule Warriors, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.It's too bad the supply issues are so rampant on these, because they are actually very high quality figures. The paint/art and modeling is done very well on them, and they all look very nice on my display shelf.So if you are like me and don't care about all the boxes matching, or you open all your amiibos, this is a fantastic option!

My nephew doesn't care for anything that is not anything to do with video games. She specifically asked for this and initially it was a hard hunt. This seller was fantastic, came in time, and in fantastic condition. Best of all, my nephew was very happy with it!

I thought I'd be purchasing the US version of the amiibo, but to my surprise, I got a Japanese version! A very rare gem in my eyes. Other region stuff are awesome! Going to be training him in Smash Ultimate every day!

Bought it for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and was so happy to finally get my hands on it. I have the Mario one and wasn't planning on getting another one, but Shulk is to cool. Plus using him now with Super Smash Bros, it is a win win! It being a Japanese Import, it still works on both my Wii U and my New 3DS, very happy and excited about it!

This is my first time I ordered something from Amazon and I'm very satisfied at how fast the package arrived. I was very happy once I opened the package and nothing was damaged. Although the box was a little bent but that's not an excuse to remove a star because the box will be removed anyways. Shulk looks great and I'm very pleased I was able to buy him at a great price! Just got Shulk an hour ago! :)

Not only do I love Amiibo's, I love Shulk! One of the best Amiibos of the lot in terms of detail and design. Again I always worry about the sword and whether it will break accidentally, but it is much more sturdier than the sword of the Fire Emblem team.On screen, it is a joy to watch and see the changing of the Monado on his sword when it counts the most (I'm useless at doing it). Pretty powerful as well.Sadly this Amiibo still remains rare to obtain. I had to pay more than what Nintendo are selling these at, but Shulk is definitely worth it.

Very detailed for an amiibo :) despite them being very cheap to get they are awesomely detailed :D very happy with this as ive been wanting shulk for a long time now
