The jewelry is great, I might consider getting a smaller diameter one though, because It hangs down a bit more than expected.

Nice quality product, balls thread on smoothly, finish is nice. Have bought several different gauges of this design, quality has remained consistent. Packaging however, is in my opinion wasteful. Comes in a small zip lock bag, inside of a velvet bag, inside of an other zip lock bag. As the velvet bag is large enough for multiple pieces of jewelry the extras are basically garbage with lots of plastic waste.

The only dislike I have is there was a tiny area that did not get fully blackened. And the threads are very small on the ring.

I wish I could add a picture of these, but I lost BOTH balls because they fall out and the picture of the ring I could take won’t show the abysmal quality of what I actually received. I have a Prince Albert. Black is my aesthetic so I gravitated towards these. Pros: - …nothing. Cons: - This is absolutely not the metal they advertised. It weights practically nothing. It really could be plastic for the way it feels. If you’ve ever worn body jewelry, you know that it should have at least slightly noticeable weight. These do not. - The balls do not fit tightly. The threading matches, but they don’t tighten all the way into the ring. It kind of sits slightly off of the ring. If you’ve got a Prince Albert of a piercing in any other sensitive area, you know that those little spaces can pinch, which is extremely uncomfortable, especially with the location that I intended to use this jewelry for. - This is not properly anodized. It’s something else. I don’t know if it’s a sort of plastic or vinyl or something, but this is another thing that they lied about. It causes pain in and of itself, plus the material irritates and inflamed the piercing which only exacerbates the discomfort. - The balls are also kind of difficult to get to align with the threading. Once you do, they screw in easily enough, but you have to fight with it for a minute. - They would look decent but without the sheen of the material they’re actually supposed to be made of, it doesn’t offer the look that I wanted. - The balls don’t tighten down enough, which is why I lost them all. Bottom line: This is a hard pass. What you get isn’t the metal advertised. It’s lightweight, poorly anodized, and irritates the piercing instead of just sitting in it comfortably. Worse, the balls don’t thread in tight, so don’t be surprised if you lose them like I did. Between the misleading material and the fit issues, this isn’t worth the risk for something going in sensitive anatomy. Spend the extra money on a brand that’s transparent about what you’re actually getting.

Wanted to size up (this is a 10G), and this was just what I wanted! If you want a more visible septum, this is perfect! Not heavy, screws in easily and the color stays. Would buy again.

Captives are much better.
