Elkay LKWRB1316SS Stainless Steel Rinsing Basket

It was just what we were looking for. It is thick gauge stainless steel that is not flimsy. Large size that fits into our sink and is easy to lift out with the handles. It looks like it was made to go with our large single bowl stainless sink. Don't know if it would fit into a double bowl sink but it was just what we intended for when we decided to upgrade to a single bowl sink. ( And we will never go back to a double bowl every again). Surprisingly, it came with a separate attachment that is meant to hold up dishes. It can be placed inside or removed. This allows more room (when removed) so it can hold larger items. Very adaptable. I don't remember if it mentioned in the item description if it was included but I just thought I would mention it if it didn't. Since it did not come with a utensil holder, we purchased one separately - a stainless steel one. ( we knew it did not come with one ). We also had to purchase a drain sheet to place under it when we removed it from the sink and used it as a drying rack when outside the sink. We only had it for two months and have had no issues. As for the price - well maybe it is a little high but it we splurged one time.

Very expensive. Nice heavy weight. Lots of little circular wires that collect nasty slimy bacteria that is very difficult to get off due to the connections. YUK! Regret this purchase.

Durable looking, heavy duty, excellent finishing on this drain rack. I ordered it for a new sink, not an Elkay, and I didn't account in my pre-order measuring for the slope of the sides of my sink which weren't actually noticeable to me. The rack is sized correctly to begin to place in the sink, but won't fit down to the bottom. My error...bringing it up so others may be more careful than I was.

I have search long for a quality stainless rinse basket--this Elkay is it! It is sturdy and strong--I do not see it getting rusty and all skanky looking. It is also very attractive. It does come with a rack that sets inside to dry dishes, but I am not using it, as I dry pots, pans and cooking stuff in it. I highly recommend this product.
