Cold SteelC-Clip Small (Pack of 2), Black

These belt clips are the most versatile and adjustable of any I could find. (It sure would be nice if the industry could standardize the spacing of holes on the edges of Kydex knife sheaths.) I’m thankful for the adjustability. But keep in mind that you will be juggling a screw, a washer, a spacer, a ‘nut,’ the sheath, and the clip. You’ll need three hands, two small screwdrivers (magnetized is great), good lighting, and your neighbor Larry’s extra hand as well to hold everything in place while you get the threads started. But I now have a sturdy horizontally mounted small knife at my waist. I’m trying that out some days instead of a folding knife for everyday use. One of the main reasons I got this was that I can slip the sheath on and off of my belt between the belt loops without threading the whole thing onto the belt ahead of time. Works great!

I got a cold steel leatherneck dagger and this fits well. Kind of easy to install but don’t plan on installing and uninstalling fast. Good clips, and I don’t see a problem with the hardware. Worth it if you use it on a belt instead of neck knife. 4.5 stars.

I have owned dozens of knives with a variety of different belt clips. The Spyderco G clip is one of my favorite solutions. I had another sheath that needed a clip, so I purchased these Cold Steel clips knowing little about them because they are a fraction of the cost of the Spyderco (I could currently get 4 of these and have a few dollars spare change for the price of 1 Spyderco). When they arrived, I was quite pleased with the clips themselves. The spacing of the slits allows for versatile mounting and the clips seem to have a decent tension and are sized nicely for smaller sheaths. I'm happy with them. However, the mounting hardware that came with the sheaths was sub-par. Again, I have owned many sheaths with hardware as points of comparison, and the Chicago screws and spacers shipping with these Cold Steel clips is the worst I have seen. The diameter of the screws and screw heads make this way less sturdy. I swapped out the hardware for some other Chicago screws I had on hand and the results were much better. I definitely recommend these clips if you have other hardware laying around. If not, then my recommendation is a bit less enthusiastic.I'll note that I did not buy this for a Cold Sheath, so perhaps the smaller and less sturdy hardware is a compatibility choice for certain small Cold Steel models.

Not great use on a cold steel sheath, and hardware kept coming loose. Also kind of a pain in the ass to install

The media could not be loaded. Not well thought out, haven’t been able to get it to fit, 2 come in the pack they are very brittle and one broke the first day. No real way to attach the clip to the sheath, wobbles, hard to slide over anything , lose once you get it slid over ie pants top, just feels insecure, hardware is delicate and instead of rubber grommets they have cheap plastic ones that offer no tension retention, no lock washers , they lossen up really easy. Needs to be redesigned, would not recommend this purchase, bummer cause I love their knife . Just can’t carry it anywhere

As titled; these C-Clips; once they go on your belt, they are NOT coming off without some very concerted force & effort, and maybe a curse word or two. :-)This is a very GOOD thing and is exactly what you should want in a product like this. If you want something that you are going to be donning & doffing frequently, you might want to look elsewhere.But if you want to know that whatever you mount this to, is clipped on your belt absolutely as secure as possible, buy these Cold Steel C-clips!!I mean; it's not *that* difficult to remove, but you definitely have to know what you are doing & it takes 2 hands.They came with hardware & all the stuff needed to throw them right onto a cold steel spike.Very nice clips, going to get the large ones next.Buy these.

Excellent for what I needed I hooked it on to my Kyoto 2 knife and now I can carry my blade on a pack of on the waist line at the 4 a clock position
