BOSS Audio Systems R6002 2 Channel Car Amplifier - 1200 High Output, Low/High Level Inputs, High/Low Pass Crossover, Hook Up to Subwoofer for Bass

I bought this for my son who kept insisting he wanted a kicker amp for hundreds of dollars more. I am happy to say this little guy kicks butt! It is hooked up to a set of 12 inch subs as old as him and it gives them a nice punch. It may not be a kicker amp but you wouldn't know it buy hearing it or feeling it. It is nice looking and the lighting on the logo looks pretty good. Hook up was an ease and everything works as it should and has been pushing power everyday in an 18 year olds car for months. The price was the best part, and the options on it are perfect.

I have been using this amp for around two years now and I love it! I recommend it to all of my friends for their car sub setups and most of the are using it now too. I have used this in my Dodge Ram with two 10" kickers (boost turned town for 10's) and it had excellent sound quality. It also fit nicely under the center console (2003 model). I now use it for two 12" Pioneers in the back of my 4runner and it sounds even better! I used the mounts preinstalled on the amp and have it mounted to the side of my sub box. It has a clean look to it and the backlit boss logo looks slick. (SIDE NOTE: I have had to since cover up the backlit logo because it was reflecting very brightly at night in my rear window. This is not a reflection of boss or the amp quality, just something to keep in mind when installing.) The instillation was very simple, just using the screws to tighten down on the cables. I highly recommend getting the boss wiring kit along with this. It has all of the necessary cables for setup and they are great quality. I do wish the wires came with the amp, but it's not a huge deal as long as you remember to order cables when you order the amp. Pros: - Great Sound Quality - Manual Adjustment of frequencies, bass boost, and power - Has never overheated - Cooling fan is silent - Mounts nicely and cleanly - Powers two 12" with no struggle Cons: - Does not include cables - Does not include screws for mounting - Remote adjustment knob does not seem to work (Not really a big deal to me though)

Boom! Boom! Boom! I bought the 1200 watt model to power a kicker l5 12 solobaric. I know this amp doesn't provide the advertised power but it does a pretty damn good job. Make sure to match your ohms and you will have a great amp for your dollar for the average joe. Of course it will not win any competitions but it sounds just as good as any other amp sold at stores like best buy, well maybe not a JL.

Purchased this amp as part of a Christmas present to replace the junk sound system in my son's car. This amp paired with a couple 8" 600-watt dual voice coil subs works great. The amp easily drives a pair of dual-voice coil subs with the voice coils in parallel at 2Ω and includes low/high pass filters so no external filters are needed. Lots of people trash on these amps in the reviews here, but the R6002 1200W amp is solid, it included the bass control, built-in crossover, and is more power than the average person needs. I think most of the bad reviews are people who didn't do their research as many models have different features and are on one Amazon page together, causing confusion. I also think these amps are somewhat over-rated in there watt rating, it is more than sufficient for most people. For the money involved here, it is a solid investment.

I paired this amp with 8" Lanzar 3-ways, and the sound is excellent. I was not going for a super high-end system as the install was in a 99 Miata and road/wind/exhaust/etc noise is a huge factor, but I could not be more impressed with this setup for the money. The amp has a nice look to it, and I actually wish it was more visible. I did the install behind the passenger seat on the rear bulkhead where the NA miata ECU is located--it will be covered by carpet, and that's actually a bit of a shame. The sound from this amp is awesome. It also puts out *way* more power than I need. With the input turned barely above minimum, it gets too loud with my tablet turned all the way up. There may be better out there, there may be cheaper out there, but I am just tickled with this purchase and would highly recommend this item to anyone shopping for an inexpensive, quality amp.

Complete and utter garbage. I received this amp on July 31, 2015 and today is August 12th 2015 and this amp failed. When it worked (for 10 days) it was great, it sounded great. But today August 12th it failed. The sign that reads "boss" that lights up, was Half dimmed and no sound came out of the amp. I disconnected it and reconnected it and nothing. Good thing this garbage failed well before the 30 days amazon takes returns. The amp was pushing 1, 12 inch fosgate sub 300 watts. Well under theyre "1200 watt max". Gain Was NOT Turned All The way up.

Packaging was good and clean. DID NOT come with the remote subwoofer control like stated. Amp looks used as when I opened the box one of the speaker wire terminal pieces (the piece you screw down that holds the wire) was completely unscrewed and loose inside the box. The bottom of the amp had a huge scratch that scratched half the sticker off. As far as power it is pretty good. I am running 2 pioneer 12s and they are hitting pretty good. I can have the DB knob and bass boost knob all the way up but the input or power knob only half way before the amp goes into protect mode. Other than that good little amp and cool addition with the glowing name on the amp.

The sound is really good from the stereo and subwoofer i have. instructions to install for dummies would have helped put it in, at 62 i had to get help from a friend that's much younger. but its great....

Looks and preforms really well for the price but not as loud in the really low bass but other than that is is very powerful it can shake the entire car

Came on time. Ecellent conditions. Works perfect with my boss speakers I installed on my doors leading. Bigger then I thought it would be but works great I just have to fine tune the amp. And comes with a blue back lit boss simble really nice display in the night. I recommend this amp if your on a budget.
