Water Powered Clock Round, Blue

I love this clock! All you have to do is put tap water in it, set the time and it runs for years. I've had mine in my bathroom for many years and it just conked out last week. I emptied it, filled it with some water and shook it around a little, emptied it and re-filled it again. It's working just like new. Bought a second one to give as a gift.

According to my order history, I bought this clock over 8 years ago and it still works. I’ve only changed the water once after emptying it for a move. Kind of incredible that it’s still going with no issues after all this time when I’ve had to change the batteries on all my other clocks multiple times in the same 8 years.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who had this on his list for Christmas. Everything showed up as expected. I'm not sure how this works...but I am sure that once he opens it, get's it set up, etc...it should work just fine. If not, you will see an updated post from me.

Small and yet very purposeful. I love that I don't have to waste batteries/electricity/money to tell time or hear the annoying tick-tock of some clocks. It is easy to set up (just a simple solution of water with a few drops of lemon juice) and keeps time very well. Time doesn't slow down, it is exact. I have had this product for nearly a month and the solution is still near the "max" line, so you don't have to replace the solution often. Two thumbs way up!

I gave this clock to one of my nieces for Christmas. It was easy to get it started and it worked fine. What impressed me and made me chuckle was that during the day, every man in the extended family had to inspect it and see just what made it tick. I thought my niece would like it to use with her students as a teaching tool. I was amazed at how mesmerizing it was for just about every man who saw it. It's a really great gift idea!

It looks great, exactly as the picture in a nice combination of crystal blue & silver. As it works with lemon juice, I don't know if the problem is with my Californian lemons or with the Florida's water, but it works very bad. It turns off very often and I have to constantly refill the lemon juice.It is hilarious, when suddenly, the water reservoir cover jumps in the air, just as a Champagne cork. The lemon juice ferments and it explodes - Myth Busters go there! It is a great bomb-alarm clock, literally.[...]

The clock was smaller than I had expected, but it is working great! The directions that came with the clock were not very good. You need to fill up both reservoirs with water and may need more than a dash of salt. The instructions stated a dash of salt but the graphics showed two spoonfulls. They stated to add salt every two weeks, but I am going on three weeks at least. This is a very eco friendly appliance.

Would like it a little more with alarm but love the way it works and the novelty. I have used them for interesting gifts. My grand daughter is using hers in her science class.

Works very well but I wish it had a temperature indicator as well--hence only four stars.

Very disappointed with the product, it arrived and did not work. It was a gift for someone and it was very unfortunate that this arrived broken. Tried returning it but passed it's return date by the time I gave it as a gift.
