Don't get me wrong, each person is looking for different things when it comes to there hair. I have fine, but very thick hair that I curl each day. The hold of this hair spray is exactly what I need. It will hold my hair for all day. It is not sticky like some others can be. I love the smell, it smells very clean and not overwhelming at all. If you style your hair everyday and want something that will hold all day, this is what you are looking for.

**Q: is this hairspray able to be brushed out each night to keep from adding layers of it?**
A: I wouldn't try this with the Extreme Hold. It's pretty stiff and would pull fairly hard on your hair. I would try this with one of the lower levels like a 3 or a 4, but not the Extreme Hold level 5. I actually use it because it holds my hair in place pretty well overnight. I only have to do a minimum of combing the next morning and maybe add a touch-up of spray. However, I have oily hair and scalp, so have to wash every 2-3 days and don't have to worry about too much hairspray build-up. If you're only washing once a week, then maybe go for a more flexible hold.

To me this is the best hair spray out there. Its control is excellent, even on the most humid day. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love Garnier Fructis

I purchased all three of Garnier Fructis hairsprays so I could figure out what I like better. They all work very well. The Sleek and shine with the anti humidity property is my second favorite for everyday usage. It does leave a nice glimmer to your hair. You can manage to work your fingers through your hair after spraying on wet hair. And, it keeps my hair from getting that fine frizz, especially in humidity. The extreme control with anti-humidity manages to keep your hair in place without looking like helmet head. Great if you’re going out and expecting wind or you are going dancing. It will keep everything where it should be for a full 24 hours. The Anti-humidity hairspray with UV filters (and bamboo extract sounds cool) is my favorite. After showering and towel drying I let my thick, curly hair air dry. I spray this one on while wet and it keeps my hair from poofing out too much after it dries. It locks in the moisture of each curl. I like the extra protection from the elements. I do not want the sun lightening my natural dark brown hair. I also tried the pump spay of the Garnier Fructis. It is great for traveling since it is not an aerosol and it is a smaller, more convenient container. I just find it goes on heavier than the fine mist of the aerosols.
