The brush is pretty useless but spraying on items such as dog beds
The brush is pretty useless but spraying on items such as dog beds, blankets etc then tossing in the dryer appears to work pretty well.

It really works!
I love my 13-year-old rescue. I cannot imagine life without her.However, I do remember (fondly) being able to wear black, gray, navy, olive and aubergine - my preferred color palette- out of the house without a thin veil of her husky-shepherd fur atop each piece.I was dubious that this product could do what it claims to do, that you can spray it on dress pants that you haven't been able to wear (or truly see) for over a year and put them in the dryer to remove the hair... after all, I have believed in and been disappointed by over a dozen products that claimed they too could help.But it works. It really was (and is) that easy.

Helps get the hair off. Guard is a bit of a misnomer.

Furless.
After 10 years I now may make peace with my daughter's very long haired cat. Actually I may make peace with my daughter and her cat. Nice cat, nice daughter, just hate the hair. Now my daughter doesn't really mind the cleanup and she will attend to it in a flash and regularly. I don't know why this works fast and easily, but I don't care. It does, and we are fur free. Happy me!

Can dent and no seal
Don't know how it works, but can has a dent and the cap looks as if it had a seal but was remove before it got to me. Also label is looks ragged around the edges Makes me wonder if I received a not so new product.

Shed Guard IS Static Guard - Works to remove pet hair
The product, made by the same company that makes Static Guard, works well. In fact, it seems like the same product in a different package being marketed to a different group. I suggest buying either Static Guard or Shed Guard (whichever is cheaper) and using the one product for all of your needs.
