This is a marvelous product. Eliminates the need for taping glass doors & windows when painting to keep paint off the glass. Peels off easily, (put enough on), any residual slides right off with a razor. Gives smooth edges where glass meets the frame because you cut along the edges before you pull off the film.

Product is easy to use and does what they claim. I had a framed mirror that I used this on. I wanted to change the color of the frame. The application was easy enough. Make sure if you accidently touch the edge of your painting surface with this product that you wipe it down really well before painting. It goes on white and dries clear. I just ran a straight edge razor around the edge of the masking liquid and pulled up and off.

I didn't know what to expect, but I read lots of the reviews. What I took away was don't be stingy with the masking. Put it on thick and multiple coats. Let it dry, overnight worked perfectly.

I was really scared to try it but this was awesome and made it really easy to paid our double does with 30 small panes of glass? I will say it’s not perfect but all in all it’s pretty great!

Works great! I love this stuff. It’s so much faster than taping and there is no bleeding underneath like tape. Also I was able to get it to work on textured glass by using 2 coats. Well worth the cost, works on textured glass and extremely easy to use!

I seldom write reviews, but I'm such a big fan of this product that I had to. I had to paint both sides of two doors and a clean paint job is very important to me. Each door had 10 glass panes, so I was looking at masking 40 panes of glass across both doors to get the straight lines that I wanted. That sounded beyond tedious with painters tape, so I went looking for alternatives and found this masking liquid. Applying the product was easy. After light sanding of the existing paint, I wiped it down and then applied 2 coats of the masking liquid around the edge of each pane using a cheap paint brush. I tried a single coat as a test, but found that it didn't remove as easily as I had hoped. The second coat of masking liquid completely resolved that. The masking remained on the windows for 2-3 weeks as I worked through primer and multiple coats of paint. When the project was completed, I set about removing the masking and couldn't be more pleased with the end result. The paint lines around the glass are completely straight and the masking removed easily from each pane in one piece. It did leave a slight residue on the glass, but that was removed easily with glass cleaner. In the end, this product saved time, provided great results and was significantly easier to apply than painters tape. Highly recommended!

I put this on as thick as possible and when dry i had to use a razor to remove it. I only used it on one window, then went back to edging. I will throw the rest out.

I used it for 2 old Anderson windows with wood frames and roped pulley-type mechanisms. I followed the directions, applying one coat, then the other in the recommended time frame. I used Benjamin Moore Advance paint, which doesn't give a person much working time because it dries fast. The windows are in good shape, but I thought hmmm, maybe this will product will also help improve the seal between the glass and the frame AND IT DID! The windows are beautiful, and there is no way I could have gotten this professional painter's look without this product. I am a HUGE fan of it. Be careful when edging with a razor knife, go slow and I did find that a slightly dull knife was my best friend. I did slip at one point and cut into the frame, but it was easily fixed. I love this product and the time it saves from masking and cutting in and then scraping paint in a straight edge is well worth the cost of it. I left it on the windows for over a week after painting because Advance has a long cure time, and it came right up, and clean up was easy with a scraper and window cleaner. So happy!
