Nice Tai Chi practice sword
Received intact and with clear plastic snap case. So far no issues with extending sword. Received promptly - happy with purchase!

looked nice at first but broken
It looked nice although it is cheaply made, the blades are stuck together and wouldn’t retract. The handle is broken. Was going to use this for Oct 7 but now can’t. Edit: Added 3 more stars since customer service and seller sent me a replacement that worked, it is just very fragile. We still didn’t get to use it on Oct 7 but worked for Halloween.

Fun toy for older children or adults
Not great for sword fighting but fantastic for stuntwork. I wanted something that is small and compact but looks real for a performance. Shines like a real sword being made from metal but with no edges or point you can stab people with it and it simply collapses into itself. Not high quality plastic on the handle but I wanted something lightweight so it works fine and is easily transportable.

Good for practicing tai chi and other Chinese martial arts
This is good for a practicing tai chi. And this plastic sword is good for what it’s attended for Would not recommend swinging it too hard Understand that this is for practice of slow but precise Martial arts Not meant for play fighting you will break it Not meant for a little children, it will break If you use it for practicing your martial arts, it’s good for that Providing you know the limits of what you’re doing That being said, it feels good in the hands and I would recommend it

DANGEROUS
Do NOT BUY. Cut my son and grown adult!! Bad! Not little cut, dripping. The metal is so thin and does not collapse right!

Son loves it!
Durable yet inexpensive, this sword is exactly what my young son wanted to add to his collection. The sword extends easily with a flick of the wrist, and the metal gives it the look of a real sword without the potential for destroying the house or injuring others.

Prone to becoming a projectile
Fun tp use but it's use is very limited in terms of application and time of usage. Mine finally broke just ejecting it from the handle becoming a projectile and putting a hole in my wall. Good for 10 bucks but that's about it.

Nicely made
Decent weight, although I expected it to be slightly heavier. Slides shut fairly well. I’m going to try a little graphite to see if it will slide easier, although it’s pretty good now. Nice design. I’m not an expert on the culture, so I don’t know if it looks “authentic” but it DOES look like a historic piece.
