Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Dog's Life: 101 Stories about All the Ages and Stages of Our Canine Companions

I got my first Chicken Soup for the Soul book that's about DOGS some 2 years ago and couldn't put it down. So I recently searched all the CSFTS books about dogs that were available and ended up buying 4 more! I just started reading the first one 'My Dog's Life' and am half way through it already! These are fantastic (if you're a dog lover like me!) and I can't wait to get to the rest of the books I bought. I'm sure I will finish all of them before any time at all and will need to search/order more of them.Beside the few CSFTS books for Women, I also bought 'Miracles' CSFTS which I'm anxious to read as well.I'm just hoping they'll keep writing/publishing many more!!(Note: If a name is published with this review my husband, Thomas, did not write it; I just used his account to order the books and write this review. We have owned 4 wonderful dogs during our marriage and every one of them was a blessing. For anyone who has had a dog for most of its life, this book covers all the happy times and sad times in a dog's life. It is heartbreaking to read, but every aspect of a dog's life can be related to personal experience, and for the wonderful memories it raises it is well worth the read. It is inspiring to everyone who has owned or wants to own a dog.

My 10 year old daughter started reading this series in December of 2021. She finished reading Chicken Soup for The Kids' Soul, Chicken Soup for The Preteens' Soul, Chicken Soup for The Teens' Soul, and Chicken Soup for The Soul. After reading all of these, she read the 2, 3, 4, etc. and then thought she was done with the series. I surprised her with this one and she was weirdly happy for a collection of short stories. She won't put it down! She's read it at least 4 times! Highly recommend.

Comfort for the sole

My dear friend who is an animal communicator has a story in this book, she sent the book to me as a surprise. I can relate with many of these stories, they will touch your heart & soul. I am now sending this book to several animal friends as a gift. This book brought many happy tears, I couldn't wait to read the next story.

This book contains many heartwarming stories about dog lovers and their dogs. Some of the stories people wrote about losing their dogs made me cry because they reminded me of my dogs who have passed away and how painful each time was for me. This book is definitely a true dog lovers' book.

Great book for all dog lovers.

One of the many feel-good Chicken Soup books and lots to relate to when one is owned by a dog. I laughed. I cried. I recommend this book for those who have a dog and even those who do not. Many sweet stories.

Can never say enough good things about Chicken Soup books but I especially love the ones about dogs. Some lovely stories in here and now waiting for a new dog one to come.
