Very nice book, great for beginners!

I was so excited when I received this book. The cover is very colorful and shows a few stitches that will be included inside. When I opened it I was even more excited because all the photos were very clear and precise. The written instructions were also clearly written and succinct. Care was taken to create this book by the design of the cover and rounded corners to the plentiful instructions on threads and needles to use. It was very extensive and a great help to me to learn this craft easily. The title is fitting "A-Z" of embroidery stitches. Very true description. There are extras included such as silk ribbon stitching and "needle weaving" which is more exotic and as far as I can remember I see a lot of use in Russia and Asiatic countries. I am excited to explore the book and begin learning more. This makes a great gift to give for both male/female. I think a good gift for a mother or grandmother to give the young crafty child/grandchild as an entry to arts and crafts. It's an important skill to learn with lots of structure.

This is a good book of embroidery stitches and instructions. I am new at embroidery. This is my first attempt. It makes me think while practicing. I just started using this book even though I had it for about a month or so. I am a visual person, so the photos are a great help. After practicing each step slowly, I am able to get the hang of the instructions. At one point, I thought I needed a YouTube video to assist but I was able to eventually figure the steps out with the photos. Don’t try to skip on reading the instructions the first time you try a stitch. It takes practice and patience until you master it. It’s not that hard once you start to flow. This is a good book of information. I do wish it had a spiral spine so it could lay flat. Eventually it will flatten but I hope the spine won’t be ruined. I thought it was a little expensive too, but other than that I cannot complain. I am glad I purchased it. Just one more thing. Sometimes I put it inside a gallon Zip Lock bag along with a few supplies so I don’t have to carry a big tote bag around with me. It works out pretty well.

This book is incredible!! People you have got to get this book if you want to learn your embroidery or if you’re already learn how oh my gosh it is so incredible not only does it show you how to use yarns but also incorporating ribbons. You will not go wrong Wrong # you’re going to love this book. It’s amazing thank you.

I was trying to learn a stitch in my beginner embroidery kit. The instructions included were not very clear to me. I started looking on the internet and could only find videos. I don’t learn well with videos. I need written instructions and pictures are nice. This book is great. It spelled out each step clearly with a picture for each step. Exactly what I was looking for and so helpful. There are probably over 150 stitches included in this book. I definitely recommend if you are new to embroidery.

I bought this book as a complete novice wanting to start embroidery but my friends who are advanced and very competent sewers have all thought that it is a good book for all levels. The book is well set out and easy to follow.

Embroidery と書いてあったので、ステッチをたくさん期待していたら、かなりリボンを使うステッチが説明されていて、期待ハズレでした。リボンはリボンの本があるので、もっと刺繍糸だけでの説明が欲しかったです！
