I've read some complain about force required to pull it out. I don't think these folks realize you are supposed to lube choke cables from time to time. I just shoot a little silicone spray lubricant at both ends. Works like a champ.

Best cable!
This is a good cable! I’ve had cheap in the past and felt like they would break if you pulled them. This is solidly built and quite long to reach for any application. It operates so smoothly and looks good too! Would buy again.

Come on Edelbrock...Taiwan made? Where's you American Pride?
It's Taiwanese but I knew that going in. It lost a Star for this though. Come on Edelbrock! These are going into American Made Cars and Trucks! Still though, Taiwan is 1000X better than made in China. Am happy with this Cable otherwise. Fit nice. I used Graphite powder for lubrication and it will work perfect for many years to come.

well made - great quality for the $$$
Replaced to wimpy choke cable on a 25X4 trencher , I use the trencher for plowing snow and need the choke to work and stay where I place it . Very nice , also I treated the cable with silicone lube so no corrosion . Will buy again if needed .

Love this thing, heavy sturdy, not cheaply made, fit on my equipment perfectly.
I got this cable, wow quite impressed with the craftsmanship. The knob side is very well made and feels heavy,Not like that cheap Chinese cable that your scared to put on in fear of them breaking during install. i will be stocking these from now on.

Had to make a spot for the choke to mount on the dash but it's a working choke cable.
