My amplifier is rated at 100w rms into 4 ohms and 200w rms into 2 ohms? Will Appx. 150w be a problem for these speakers?

SPEAKER rms=85 WATTS RMS. sAFELY CAN GO 150% OVER . SO 1.5X85=127.50 IS MAX MAX= 150 WATT RMS AMP WILL WORK NICELY TO FILL IT TO THE TOP JUST SET THE GAIN DOWN AT FIRST MAY BE 75% THEN GAIN A LITTLE TILL IT SOUNDS BEST BUT NOT MAXED. TO LITTLE AMP WOULD BE WORSE THAN TO MUCH. 100 WATTS IS PERFECT @ 4 OHMS SINCE IT HITS THAT 127.5 WATTS MANUFACTURER SAYS IS ONLY 80>% AND SPEAKER MANUFACTURERS ARE VERY CONSERVATIVE SAYING 70>%

What does the button do?

It changes the sound of the tweeters in the middle, not a whole lot it's just a subtle change, good speakers though I reccomend them I've had them a couple years now and they are still good

Yes, as long as you tune the amp to the speakers. Gain, frequency and controls on radio to get best sound quality at max volume you want to hear. Great speaker for price point.
