It Fits BMW 135i E82
Best money spent! I had a 5 gallon water bottle spill in the trunk of my 135i and it soaked an SOS computer box. Didn’t know I had such a think in my car. My radio would intermittently work and thought I had to buy a new radio. Luckily thanks to YouTube I found this. Installed with just a click and now my radio works all the time. Love it!

Awesome product. BUY IT.
I have a mercedes s430 2005, but I think LOTS of cars use this fiber optic backbone. Well, my stereo stopped working and also the battery was draining overnight. So, using this "loop" I was able to take the components "out of the loop" one at a time. You can't do it without this "looper". I took one component at a time out of the "loop" and finally, when I got to the CD changer... the "loop" bypassed the CD Changer... suddenly everything started working... except the CD changer ... which was broken. Also, now that the Loop is working again, the car can "put the system to sleep" ... which cured my battery drain problem. I AM SUPER HAPPY. This is easy for even beginners to troubleshoot.

Useless Junk. Neither of these loops fit BMWs. I tried both!
So, I received my set of YIOVVOM optical bypass loops today annnnnd…. RETURNED them tonight! Last month my BMW sounds stopped working and I got the dreaded SOS error! After watching some YouTube videos I felt confident I could use these loops to troubleshoot my problem by bypassing various components. Well, I was wrong. The male connector in this kit does not fit anything in the car so it's inclusion and marketing as a “2-PACK” is completely misleading in my opinion. Why would anyone ever need a male connector when you are trying to bypass components that also HAVE male connectors? To make things worse, the female connector (the one i needed) in this kit absolutely would not fit any of the male plugs on the components in my trunk. It seems like it was manufactured to fit some other kind of connector. My wife also has a BMW 550i and just for FUN I went to try it on her car's components and had the same results! It looks like maybe if I cut the plastic off it could be made to fit but I am not risking damaging the unit and not being able to return it… I just returned this and I will order one from another seller that fits! There has to be a better option out there.

Absolutely worked as advertised and expected....
, as soon as I bypassed the Navigation....My radio and CD player came back to life. The bypass's didn't fit all the fiber optic connectors but it fit the ones I needed

Worked as expected
I have a 2007 Mercedes CLK 350 and wanted to do away with the factory CD changer in the glove box. It was a simple job and this product worked perfectly.

Does not fit 2006 BMW 330i
Not a fit for factory 2006 BMW 330i MOST connector. This parts male connector is misaligned with the 2006 BMW 330i female (see picture. This parts 2 in/out optic wires are slightly more to center of connector). You can shove this parts male into the factory 2006 BMW 330i satellite radio female if you insert it at an angle but risk of breaking the optic wire (especially upon disconnection since this connector has plastic lock mechanism on side of rectangle connector (short side) while factory 2006 BMW 330i has the connector locking mechanism on the bottom (long side of rectangle)This parts female plastic interface was too small to even fit around the factory 2006 BMW 330i male MOST connector so I was unable to even attempt a bypass of the satellite radio module (or amp or TCU modules)

Works great for a Volvo XC60 (or in my case two Volvos!)
With everyone driving less due to COVID-19, these have worked great on my XC60 and a family member's XC60 with the phantom satellite radio drain problem. Much cheaper vs getting the software update or visiting the dealer for the OEM part.

Most bus made easy
I didn't realize it was just a generic connector which didn't plug and play with everything but it was easy enough to take them apart and use them to test flex ray and most bus.. if you work on German vehicles, it's definitely a must if you're trying to diagnose fiber optic systems.
