Fear: 13 Stories of Suspense and Horror

Only a few of these short stories were my favorites, but they cliffhangers at the end of each short story left me wanting more 🕵🏽‍♀️.

I bought this book for my 11 year old son. He is trying to get out of the goosebumps stage. I went by online reviews and thought it woukd be okay for him. After reading a couple of the stories I can tell you its probably more for 13 and up. A couple of the stories were a little gory to my liking. He didnt seem to mind though.

I was a little uneasy, buying this book. Some of Stine's post-Goosebumps (original series) books have disappointed me, but I love good ghost stories so I gave this a try.I'm very happy with "Fear." The stories feature a lot of variety, and everything from "good scares" to "gotcha" endings that made me laugh out loud.In general, this book didn't skimp on the "eeeuuuuwww!" factor, but it didn't make my stomach lurch, either. So, for me, it was a Goldilocks book ("just right!").If you want a fun book to read at night when the moon is full and the wind makes the house creak, this is a good choice.

My 12 year old is totally loving this book. I have more order as of today,always up for building her RL Stine collection.

I read books to my kids at night. This book had a lot of good stories. Some were scary, some were just thinkers. Two of the stories they made me read one more than five times. Two of the stories they had me read again, because they just did not understand them. There was only ONE R.L Stine story.... If the kids were happy,they I'm happy with the book.

Have you ever picked up a book of Horror Short Stories only to find that you don't understand the archaic language, or the story plots? This collection is not at all like that! Every story is exactly what the Horror fan is seeking! I highly recommend this book and know you will enjoy it!

I loved R.L. Stine growing up! So as a adult I decided to travel down memory lane and read one of his books again!! Very good book!! Each story was different!! Some made me want to look in the closet and under the bed!

Great price; nice introductory for transition from Goosebumps to Fear Street; Daughter(age 12) loves Fear street now; wish there was a gift box with like 6 to 10 Fear Street books for a reasonable price

Arrived quickly and in great condition. Worth a read. Some stories are fantastic while others are a little less memorable. Great to read before bed.

Maybe 2 stories were okay, rest 11 are really lame. Not recommended
